A few weeks ago i spotted a Transdev coach headed down Notre-Dame Ouest, going the same direction as the 36 Est, which I found strange, because a lot of the other exo buses were going down Rue St-Jacques.

Probably took the Atwater exit from the 15 instead off the 136.

Drove by Transdev Chateauguay Saturday. The burned out 821338 is still on site. Most of the font looks intact, guess there are enough parts to justify keeping it.

What look like exo branded paratransit buses are lined up on the side, but it's hard to be sure when passing by at 40km/h.

There is a used Holiday Inn branded shuttle van parked off to the side as well. The kind with bus doors on the side. Parked among the fleet, not staff.

exo Terrebonne-Mascouche 220-205 has a driver side wrap for Poppers

Also in the "real estate seems to be a profitable business": exo Assomption 221-202, 221-203, 29268 and 29254 are all driver side wrap ... for the same real estate agent ... and 4 different designs

They're not owned by Keolis. That's just the operator contracted to run the service.

Meanwhile, in the same vein. I'm amazed that exo HSL with only two routes, neither of which enter the MRC Haut-Saint-Laurent, hasn't been folded into Sud-Ouest.

Saw Paquette 626 on the 404, also with no leading 3

I was at Terminus Saint-Eustache on Friday morning and the only bus I saw that had the leading 3 was the Nova Hybrid 3-623.  All other Paquette buses I saw that day did not have the leading 3 (buses 622, 628, 629, 631, 632, 638).

It was always an internal thing the leading number. It was a way to identify the contractor on the GFI Farebox. The farebox prevents someone from using a ticket from the same bus #, so at the time because Paquette and Transcobec had the same fleet numbering scheme (owned by the same family) they had added a 2 to the Transcobec number and 3 to the Paquette number.

Internally the 1 was Transdev and 4 was Autobus Deux-Montagnes. I don't think it was planned for the prefix to ever appear on the buses, but when they were sent for lettering the fleet list had them listed. Some of the units mentioned by @Seashore_518203 did have the prefix at 1 point or another when they got their exo colors, but I guess they eventually got removed. Going forward on the tracker, I believe we should still put the prefix to identify the buses, unless Transcobec and Paquette decide to go to a whole new numbering scheme with the new contract. Internally the REM shuttle is known as Division 5.

Limocar:

8022231 (ex-chambly) was on the 10 (MTL-Sherbrooke) this morning.

Sorel-Varennes:

I took 1221 on the 700 and 1255 on the 724 yesterday. Intermediate bus 1243 was on the 731.

I took 1225 and 1227 (not tracking) on the 700 today. Also spotted 1253 on the 720.

I imagine many of the coaches will be sold off next month when the contract for 700/707/709 passes to Transdev.

Transbus seems to be struggling to maintain the service. There are tons of cancellations, as can be seen on their Twitter. As a result, it's stressful if you need to travel around there, very easy to get stuck for 2 hours (and I've even seen them cancel the last bus of the day...)

And a bonus photo of 1253:

Sorel-Varennes:

I took Casino Bus 1237 on the 722 this afternoon. It has no fare box or Opus reader. Otherwise it was the same as the other Transbus XD40's. Does anyone know what model year these are(1235-1238)?

Based on when 1234 and 1239 were purchased, my assumption would be 2014.

I took Transdev 813909 on the 404 this evening, a 2009 MCI E4500. It is not on the wiki. It also has an interior fleet number that says 330. IMG_20220613_202740_edit_282619360829268.thumb.jpg.a17043bf66c13ce69914f2c7a934994c.jpgIMG_20220613_194621.thumb.jpg.db3703dbc54f99692fe30694e49bcf4e.jpg

Also, the seats are as comfortable as they look. I highly recommend riding one of these E series on the REM shuttle just to experience how comfortable these seats are. Plus, it's free with the STM monthly, just go to a billeterie métropolitaine (preferably the one in Gare Centrale) and ask them to load the REM shuttle pass onto your opus. It's valid for a year, even if you only buy one monthly.

Bonus pics: Transdev 814314 on the 404 and Fleur de Lys 3016 (2000 H3-45) parked at Mansfield.IMG_20220613_202557_edit_282636698946973.thumb.jpg.e232b774cf6734e1d016493c42a2b81b.jpgIMG_20220613_202521_edit_282678617689675.thumb.jpg.f436fb337af979c5b9b3d4ce5d0408c7.jpg

Well time to find that bus

Possibly one of the last first gen in service to this day

At what hour did you find that bus?

It's used as a spare, sporadically used when the newer ones are out of service, so unfortunately there's not really a helpful answer to this question. 374 and 375 (2019 LFS) are both in service lately, so it might be a while until they need to use 1233 again.

Onto Transbus, they're surely planning to get rid of almost all their older coaches now they lost the SV coach lines to Transdev. Most of the older ones seem to their exo-related equipments (farebox, LED screen, tracker) removed. The 700 had 1223, 1225, 1227, 1231 and 1234 today, none had any exo equipments left, and all not tracking.

Also spotted 1235 going towards Longueuil. Some G5 minibus.

Sorel-Varennes:

I took 1223 on the 710 and 1232 on the 700 this evening. Because of the operator change on Friday, most Transbus vehicles don't have fare boxes. As a result, you can visit their territory for free. I highly recommend checking out the 700, my favourite route in greater Montreal.

Here's 1223 at the temporary Contrecœur terminus. The 710 used to be minibuses but switched to coaches in April 2022 when it got extended to Contrecœur. It was really strange driving along the tiny residential streets in Verchères in a coach.

All from yesterday:

Spotted 319 (that 2007 X3-45) on the 709. It's still alive then!

Bumped by chance into 3099 (D40LFR) at Longueuil, route 350. Took it to Ste-Julie, then got Transbus 355 to St-Amable. I then took 1243 on the 732 back to Longueuil. None of the two Transbus units I took have farebox, next-stop screen or tracker.

Spotted 601315 on the local line at Ste-Julie, it's supposed to be in a skin tone livery but the entire front seems to have been replaced.

Anyway, here's a pretty fine front shot of 3099, and a terrible rear shot of 1243:
