C2045
I'll start this topic off with 851, which hadn't received her Traxx colors yet. See if you can guess what model Van Hool this is.

323 Surrey Ctrl Stn
I love the Traxx buses, they're also so clean, new and have crazy paint schemes.
mcooknell
When I worked at Gray Line in Victoria, we'd have numerous "outside" customers come in to get their units serviced.. I THINK it was Traxx (Tot-em at the time) where a driver would only drive a certain unit. The driver's would usually be outside shining their rims. I think it's great that way the drivers know when they're unit isn't sounding right or if it's not performing properly.
C2045
Yeah, whenever I see a Traxx driver he always seems to be cleaning his bus.
A. Wong
Those rims are super shiny for a reason! I really do admire companies that do that, namely MTR Western, TRAXX, and Brewster.

kevlo86
So I have found a way to tell whether or not the restyled caps on the H3-45's are recaps or new from factory. The recaps do not have PREVOST engraved into the body on the front; meanwhile, buses new from factory do. I am quite certain of this as every other restyled from factory coach from other western Canadian companies that I looked at has Prevost engraved. Traxx has 26 Prevost H3-45 coaches #807/#809-827/#830-835 - 6 coaches are not recapped, built sometime between 1998-2002, they are 807, 809, 810, 811, 812 and 834 - 15 coaches built sometime between 1998-2002 are recapped, they are 815-826/831-833 - 1 coach was built sometime between 1995-1997, it is recapped, this is #830 - 4 coaches were built sometime between 2002-2005/06, these coaches were built with the new caps, they are coaches 813, 814, 827 and 835. They are the only coaches that have PREVOST engraved into the body at the front.
BCT-3122-D800-10240
So it seems as though Traxx has moved out of their yard / garage that they had in the North East near Barlow Trail and 16th Ave. Drove by there last ngiht and there were no signs of any of their coaches parked in the yard or their company name on the building either. There were a few Dump Trucks in the yard though. Anyone know anything more about this? Also, here is a photo that I took of #802 back in 2006 with "Trek" decalled on the unit. kevlo86
Traxx has moved their Calgary based operations to Airdrie. That is where their new yard is, go to their website to find the address.

BCT-3122-D800-10240
Traxx now has a 35 foot Coach numbered 853 which is an ABC Companies 3035RE. Spotted it looking brand new in downtown Calgary last night. Anyone know if they have any more 3035RE's?
