Premium is like 157 in Toronto right now.

@Ninja Bus Fan, it cost $160 to fill a Cayenne today. I was laughing the whole way after 120.

Cayenne's have a 100L tank?

Fueled in Toronto for 127.9 (regular) the other day

Fueled in Calgary for 123.9 (regular) today

Just got a picture sent to me today showing the price of regular is at 146.9 back home in Vernon.  Not looking forward to that heading home tomorrow - premium will be around 166.9/L - thats gonna suck LOL!

They certainly do. This tank was bone-dry too. Managed to limp it from storage to gas station somehow.

Its quite amazing seeing the range if you tank a diesel. Something like ~1200kms onwards.

127 is pretty good these days. I found that near the airport somehow.  Ists funny because Esso and Shell were saying135, and then next door is PetroCan with 127.9 lmao.

Downside of the GTi/R. Premium gas. And my god the GTi is awful in the city.

My town had a gas war for the last month or so - prices ranging between 132.9 to 107.9 - which is a pretty rare thing to see LOL!

As for the GTI/R booting around town, you can get some decent mileage around town, all depends on how you drive it - I know lots of people who average mid to high 30s MPGs for around town.  Its not easy, requires a lot of self discipline, something I lack :P

I took a Passat RLine up to Calgary this past week with the 1.8L engine, granted it has a 70 litre tank (15 more than my R) but I got just over 950km (highway) before the light came on - needless to say that that was pretty impressive.

I just checked GasBuddy to see what I'm in store for on my way home - Vernon seems to be holding out between 117.9 and 123.9 while Kelowna (next town away)  is between 139.9 and 146.9 - there's still hope :P
