Although I think that it'd continue to fall to the point where it'll lose all value.

Orion VIII
I hope the price of gas goes back to 1.35/liter so that transit is more attractive to people. My theory is that high gas prices like that caused the credit crunch. People who want to drive will always drive, regardless of the price.

newflyerinvero
Sooner or later, the flashback to the old-style commercials which involved a guy filling up for $20.37, only due to the fact that as he was at the end, he nudged the nossel upwards and the screen indicated the additional 37 cents. It took an Esso speed pass card to put that transaction through. It's the thought of seeing someone pay for gas at roughly $20 seem likely if if this spirals downward much more then what it's right now.

newflyerinvero
Was listening to Coast To Coat AM last night and an expert mentioned that this a short-term 'relief'. I had discovered that there are a couple of city governments within other countries that are on dier straits. So we may be relieved at the pumps, but it shows that those areas in the world that depend on it more from an industrial point of view are getting hammered much more. As one situation improves, another worsens by a change in price of oil.

Matt Demers
While gas is around 69 cents in NDG, a few blocks away in Snowdon, gas is at 78.4 cents still! Have any idea hwhy it was like that? I found it odd and surprising to see prices in the 6x cents range in my end of town and 78.4 at the Shell on Van Horne/Decarie!!!
