Vancouver
Quick question. Is there any decent vantage points for photos where they store the Spruce Meadows buses? Obviously while keeping on public property. This is the yard where they are stored: http://goo.gl/maps/DvNGw When are you coming to Calgary? 323 Surrey Ctrl Stn
This is the yard where they are stored: http://goo.gl/maps/DvNGw When are you coming to Calgary? Thanks. I'm in Calgary from the 23rd-26th (might extend it to the 27th). The weekend before and after I'm spending in Rocky Mountain House with family. Hopefully I will see some people on this board come down here.

BCT-3122-D800-10240
On Saturday, 669, 670, 672, 1436, 3029, 3031 were all out. 3526 was at the shop in the Alyth Industrial and 3524 was at Wajax (which used to be called Watrous). Buses out today include: 669, 670, 672, 1536 and 3031. I think you meant 1436 and not 1536....

BCT-3122-D800-10240
Forgot to mention this last Saturday, but I found #3526 freshly painted in Spruce Meadows colors at a body shop near Industrial Graphics.
armorand
Just wondering, what are the status on the Fishbowls still with Spruce Meadows? And in particular, private interests to buy them after they're retired?

And in particular, private interests to buy them after they're retired? Still the 5 TDH-5303's and the one T6H-5305 are active. Other then that, not much else is known except for what has been previously posted in this thread. And about purchasing one, you got some money to donate to get one!? BCT-3122-D800-10240
Here's a photo of #3526 sitting at a body shop in the Foothills Industrial area near 54th Ave. S.E. So I am wondering if the other four former Fort McMurray (SMMBL) MCI Classics will be done up for Spruce Meadows or not. I haven't heard yet. Those would be #'s 3522, 3523, 3525, & 3527. BCT-3122-D800-10240
Well, a former OCTA D40LF has finally shown up in Calgary. Not sure the fleet number of this one, but it is parked in the PWT - Red Arrow yard in the N.E. I am not sure which fleet this will become a part of, so for now, I will leave it in this thread. Nick B
Nice! It would be such an interesting change to see low floors in the Spruce Meadows fleet! I personally hope it becomes part of Spruce Meadows' fleet.
BCT-3122-D800-10240
It would be neat to see that in my opinion as well, but they don't have the capacity for the crush loads that the MCI's and Fishbowls can handle, but it would be useful to have at least a couple of Low Floors in their fleet, just not the entire fleet. TheAverageJoe
Looks like one of the EX Orange County CA D40LF's that Pacific Western was using for the Pearson Airport contract when the Airlink was down for construction work. Pacific Western Toronto kept some for the Porter/Billy Bishop airport shuttle with others being placed up for sale. I'm not shocked that some made it out to Red Arrow. I would be on the look out to see if Red Arrow and or Southland get some more of them.
BCT-3122-D800-10240
At least 4 of these D40LF's have now arrived at the PWT - Red Arrow shops in Calgary now. They are labeled as #'s 1 thru 4 in the file names of the attached images.
TheAverageJoe
I hope this does not mean the start of the retirement of the Red Arrow Fishbowls and Classics.

I have no clue what these will be used for whatsoever.. Like I said before, we just need to keep a watch on them and see what happens.

LRT
Cool, the back door is positioned closer to the front of the bus. Also looks like the bus can kneel on the rear as well....rear ramp too???
