Articulated
The coaches belong to Attridge, they can use them wherever they want (so as long as all their Safeway commitments are fulfilled according to the contract with them). Same thing goes with Coach Canada's line haul operations. Line haul runs from the Niagara region for years have run with Safeway branded coaches, or with Megabus branded coaches, or with Coach Canada branded coaches, or ones branded for a university sports team. A bus is a bus. Something like a one-day rental is probably best to put excess Safeway branded coaches on, that way they are guaranteed back in the yard that night, and if there is a need for another Safeway branded coach the next day, then they have one available.

Yes and no. Certain buses in certain liveries are used for certain things. megabus/blue j45's are used for runs into buffalo from TO, same as the double deckers. as long as ive been working at Coach I have never taken or seen a safeway bus used for a line run. ive seen the ice dogs bus used a couple times for generic duty. Quote The Buffalo only runs tend to have just the regular Coach Canada J4500's. NYC and DC runs have the DD's. I rarely seen a Megabus J4500 on there. I seen more of the hockey team wrapped Coach Canada coaches on those runs then the Megabus branded coaches.

Articulated
Spotted another 2017 Coach Canada bus in the Safeway Tours livery: 313829. Sister unit 313828 has been spotted by another member. They have an identical livery to the 9300x series, with the Safeway logo beside the front door and swooshes to the back. It is a slightly different livery from the 9200x series, which has the logo further back with no swoosh.
Megabus Rider
All of the 2017 MY Coaches have arrived for Safeway from all the companies. This year PW finally gave in and now have red Coaches so now everybody looks the same! The graphic design is the same from last year but the difference is the website has been added to the rear of the Coach. Coach Canada has them in the 31xxx series, Great Canadian in the 17XX series, GTA Crew in the 77xx series and Attridge in the 67xx series. I am not sure what series PW has utilized. Cheers! Safeway has nothing to do with their branded Coaches being used on a Charter. Safeway only pays to rent the bus with driver, installation and removal of graphics and a monthly to have their graphics on the requested Coaches. I was saying if they (that group) chartered from Safeway it would have costed more then chartering from Coach Canada.

You can't "Charter" from Safeway, they don't own the buses. Safeway is not a Charter Bus Company, They are a Tour Company who sells day tours to Fallsview Casino and Multiday Tour Packages. Articulated
Spotted a Safeway unit with fleet number 5718 on Highway 401, suppose this is a Pacific Western unit. Since PW typically numbers their units sequentially they likely have at least 5 units.
translink fan
Finally got around to editing my photos from my trip to Toronto this past summer. Safeway units I saw were from PWT and Attridge. Enjoy! Megabus Rider
Most of the 2014 MY Coaches have been "retired" from Safeway, I know for Great Canadian: 1000, 1002, 1005, 1206, 1209 and 1210 are no longer doing Safeway. GTA Crew 7201 has been "retired" from Safeway. 2013 MY and prior have been "retired" from Safeway for Coach Canada. It seems for PW most of the 2014 MY Coaches have "retired" from Safeway, some of them have the PW livery. As for New Buses for 2018: Great Canadian will be getting 3 and GTA Crew will be getting 2. Not sure about the other companies.

Prevost
Just visited Safeway Tours website and they have updated it to say that they have 11 new coaches for 2018. Does anyone know the breakdown of those 11 coaches (i.e. who the owners/operators are and whether they are all Prevost H3-45s)?
leylandvictory2
Great Canadian and Attridge definitely got at least one new one. GTA Crew probably not and Pacific Western is a maybe.
