Two MCI Classics have now left the property; 8937 was the first one to be towed away at around 11:15 am, 8835 would be towed out earlier this afternoon between 12:30 - 1:30 pm.......today was a sad day :(

I've been informed the Novas will finally start showing up 1-2 per day starting the week of March 26, and also the next Orion to be delivered will arrive around the same time although they(Orion) want to use it for the OTE , so it likely won't hit the city roads until mid-April

Thanks for the picture. So far it looks like a peculiar combination of options: standard bumper and single headlights (possibly LED though) but full BRT roofline. I wonder if it will be called LFX or LFS Artic? The livery seems promising too.

Should be LFX if they have frameless windows, quite dissappointed with the new scheme without any decals at the front, or just waiting for more 'color' to be applied?!

Nova has frameless windows available for all models.. Not just the LFX. The only thing I can see is, as mentioned above, the BRT roofline.

The BRT roofline featured on Halifax Metro Transit LFS artic as well.........I really have no clue what's the main difference between a LFX and LFS artic....

That's because there is no difference. The two use the same structure, and the same set of options. They just arbitrarily call it one or the other.

I agree Dan, But I Thought the LFX designation was fore the headlight cluster, and those stupid wheel covers?

I thought that there had been "regular" units that used that particular headlight cluster though? And as for the wheel covers.......uhhh, should they really derive a new model solely on them?

All you can really go by is what is branded on the rear. Since the debut of the LFX, it's clear its options are available on all other models. For what it's worth, the press release calls these Niagara buses "LFX".
