97SCT
NFT has a Chair-A-Van in the new livery; 1024, got a picture earlier today, also think it may be a new unit Yes I realize that. What surprises me is that I thought they were only acquired for the falls shuttle. So I wonder what they are using on those routes. i went down today, 2368 and 2576 were on the Green Line (i think?), 2267 and 2984 serviced the Red Line
97SCT
i also wonder why all the Classics are still in the garage, are they used as like extra buses for school or?

Orion VIII
i also wonder why all the Classics are still in the garage, are they used as like extra buses for school or? They sure could use those in an attempt to provide quality service to GO passengers.
97SCT
They sure could use those in an attempt to provide quality service to GO passengers. i agree, at least one of them could be used for the Falls Shuttle instead of a VII or an ElDorado in my opinion I was under the impression from earlier posts that the Classics come out mostly during University / College 'in session' times. No? maybe so yeah.........

Orion VIII
Uhhhhh, you need to keep the passengers happy when you need a/c on! I'd rather get on a non-A/C bus than get very close to missing my train. Niagara Falls Transit has been made aware of my concerns from last weekend. This also happened last year when the Supervisor had to make sure no one misses the train connection!

hamiltontransithistory
I've seen a number of photos of Canada Coach Lines buses in Niagara Falls, and many of them are parked in a lot at what I think is the southeast corner of Stanley and Dunn. http://hamiltontransithistory.host-ed.net/...es/CCL1985a.JPG http://hamiltontransithistory.host-ed.net/images/CCL2155.JPG Was this the site of the former Niagara Falls Bus Terminal, or just a bus storage site? Seashore_518203
Was this the site of the former Niagara Falls Bus Terminal, or just a bus storage site? It was both actually. The bus terminal was located on the southeast corner, a little back from the intersection. The loading bays were at the location were the Radisson is now and they were at the same angle as the Radisson. Right at the southeast corner (the current location of the Outback Steakhouse) was where the buses parked opposite the terminal. Both of those photos were taken there. D40LF
Poor Niagara, more orions that they don't want So the LFS was a fluke then. Would make the NFT fleet interesting as these would be VII NG
general682002
So the LFS was a fluke then. Would make the NFT fleet interesting as these would be VII NG Yup, when that new GM took over, he didn't want that boxy Orion VII and end up taking the LFS for the lowest bid. With now the Orion VII NG is back in order, this means the remainder of Classic will be either retiring or something.
97SCT
speaking of NG's i did see one on a flatbed truck heading to the falls two weeks ago, it was like purple/yellow when i saw it i cant remember. could it have been a demo?

Could possibly be one of King County's (Seattle) units, heading to Oriskany NY, unless their order has already been filled. I did see one of their units being tested on the QEW near the ford plant in Oakville this past spring.
