translink fan
Lots of farm outs lately. More drivers gone. Blue Star coaches, TRAXX, and even my employer have been callled for covering runs to Kelowna and Kamloops.

What LeMirage coaches? There were a bunch of Prevost X3-45 coaches in the 6xx series. Highest I've seen personally is 654, although from what I'm gathering not every coach was transferred to Greyhound and some are still left for charter/other service. traildriver
GLC bought some used XL-II's from IT, and leased some ex Acadian or Orleans from Prevost for a while, according to the 'wiki' list. I remember seeing some of them, when they came into New York City...
translink fan
Bus #6259 looks like it may be done. Saw it sitting in the yard with a red tag on the front and a missing AC panel.

Looks like 1327 has a new design for its Western University wrap. 1327-1329 have been wrapped for Western University since 2013, all with the same design (just different students on each coach). Here is a photo of 1327 from last year, showing its former wrap:

yrt1000
If the bus tracker is to be believed, greyhound USA #86263 was on schedule 5506, the 8:30 London-Toronto express. You might see them sometimes on the Chicago-Toronto runs, if the bus isn’t changed in Detroit, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen one between London-toronto

ns8401
The following numbers keep showing up in Bus tracker on the US side, no clue what they are: 86835 86837 86838 90022 The 3 868’s have been running around the New York City to the Midwest corridor and the 90022 seems to hang out in Minneapolis-Chicago and Chicago to Iowa Service... Then in Detroit, that same bus would continue on to Chicago without the passengers having to transfer buses. Now its strictly 88xx or any available bus with a wheelchair lift. This was partly due to the US federal governments ADA that prohibits buses on scheduled line runs that isn't wheelchair equipped. There was also Rumors floating around saying that Greyhound US was charging Greyhound Canada by the mile everytime a US bus was used on a Greyhound Canada schedule other then the Toronto/Buffalo/ NYC or Syracuse- Ottawa run. The bus number could have also been tracked easily using their "BOSS" software that is vital to keeping the dog running, which now corresponds with "Bus Tracker" for the public. Any authorized employee that has access to "BOSS" could simply search a major city in Greyhound's network and see which bus is on what schedule and the name of the driver who is assigned to the coach along with passenger counts. They could also access the drivecam at any moment to see what that driver is doing in real time. The reason why you are seeing these buses now is because GLC is short on buses. Take a trip to their Toronto yard. 40% of the fleet is out of service waiting for parts.

You mean First Group isn't Done Destroying the company already...If they shut down in the East it would be no big loss...lots co to take over service...and if the West runs lost money how come theirs so many companies jumping on many of them...after Nov 1 theirs only a small portion of Greyhounds existing network that will not have services...Hwy 3 Nelson to the Ab border(not sure if Sun City is going to continue Cranbrook to Golden) and Penticton to Kelowna. Other than that their will be basically an increase in service provided.

traildriver
You used to see GLC buses all the time in New York on pool runs with both GLI and NYT. And during busy holidays, you would see GLC buses (and driver's), as "rentals" on the Montreal to New York City trips, operating non-stop....
