92 is back on the road

now all of St.Catharines Invero's have been fitted with cummins engines

Is that from the head of the foreman garage? If so, I'll look forward to it.

Just glad I made a video before the engine change. London is next but slowly retrofit.

not sure where to put this

but Welland put in a tendor to

Orion,New Flyer, NOVA, El Dorado

they are not happy with their Blue Bird either

to quote the mechanic they are "useless peices of sh*t"

117 (Orion 1) has been awaiting a new engine for a long long time once again to quote the mechanic "they have 1 speed over there and it's slow"

haha i'm thinking he should be a comedian.. i'll put the pics on the site today or tomorrow

Heh, not surprised about those ex-Pearson shuttle.

My guess it's to replace either their current 40ft or expansion.

went to Welland's Garage today.

they will be getting 2 new El Dorado's

as they just got a new FORD "1143" last month as well for their new "Pelham Link"

117 is a write off as well after almost a year of waiting for Orion to respond over a new engine they have just decided to write it off

which isn't making my buddy happy he said 117 and 118 (Orion 1's) are the best buses they have

after sitting in the garage and in and out of maintenance 8849 is the next Classic to be retired

8849

Interesting that the fleet number is on the rear bumber, never seen that before.

Did anyone have any luck getting a current St.Catharines roster?

i asked for one and they gave me a maintence check list haha which didn't help..

i will ask different people next time i just went there again today for some pictures i have to go back on thursday so i'll ask around

as for the numbers on the bumper i believe they did it because since the majority of the fleet is D40LF's they put wraps on the back of the bus which covers up the number

on other news.. new D40LF coming in December

st.catharines is planning on retiring all remaining 6 Classics and 2 Orion V's at the end of the year

also the transit is running low on buses at the moment when i went there not 1 bus was in the garage.. 13 buses were waiting for repairs

the mechanics were saying they are pulling 12 hour shifts.

possible leased fishbowls coming? <_< i could only wish

I can't believe that the Orion V are being retired already.

I remember them being delivered at the same time I was creating a list of St.Catharines buses and chasing them to get the license plate info.
