laliok
So there seems to be a few MIA buses in St.C. I haven't seen 96, 97, and 0706 since at least late 2018.

newflyerinvero
Pardon the bump, But yesterday in Burlington, a St. Catharines Transit Nova LFS was heading westbound on Harvester Road passing the Burlington Transit garage at 4:15 pm. laliok
So some small updates on the 438: There is now a detestation sign programmed for the route instead of just saying "SPECIAL" Also the route is now on the website and the transit app so it's less hidden. laliok
Interesting side effect of the reduced schedule: There are artics on routes that normally wouldn't have them. Don't know all routes with em but the ones I've seen are 409, 418, 415 and maaaaybe the 417.
97SCT
As of June 28th, St. Catharines will go back to 30-minute service intervals, plus all buses including their marked Regional units will get plexiglass driver barriers in order to allow front door boarding. https://www.iheartradio.ca/610cktb/news/st-catharines-transit-will-increase-service-to-every-30-min-end-of-june-1.12636679 https://www.stcatharinesstandard.ca/news-story/9997651-st-catharines-buses-to-get-plexiglas-driver-barriers/
laliok
Ah, I noticed that 98 had a driver barrier installed, thought it was weird that was the only bus I rode that day with one installed.
laliok
So I was browsing the STC's website when I found these two pictures where they have booth made out of the front of a D40LF. Thought it was interesting and worth sharing. Although I am curious which D40LF this front end came from. . they're from this page: https://yourbus.com/transit-in-the-community/
laliok
Sorry for the bad pics but I saw 2040 leaving and returning to the garage today. The Not In Service font on the signs are different which is a bit interesting.

laliok
It looks like st Catharines started installing what I'm assuming are smart card readers. I wonder what solution they went with.
97SCT
Three brand new Novas have arrived; 2103, 2104 and the third I believe is 2105. I have been told at least 10 in total are expected. They come with the sealed windows, exterior cameras and the new driver's window. As far as a rear sign goes, I am not sure.

97SCT
2102 was out today but not in service. It was to get the drivers acquainted with the new visibility package, the 1/3 2/3 front door and the new ticket scanner machines. They have the plastic seats (no surprise there), perimeter seats in the back, and sure enough these new units have a rear sign. Signs are Luminator Titan.
