Will all HSL and SO line numbers be redone?

Probably, but not the highest priority on exo list right now

In other news, exo has now it's first accessible bus route, exo Assomption route 15 will now be accessible for wheelchair customers

Thank you for the update! I will try to update the wiki in the next few weeks. Would you happen to know if Limocar is planning to retire their older units (8547 and 885), given that they are receiving newer buses?

@citfan2020

If 3391 is going to Richelain and 307305 is in SJSR, what is heading to Plessisville to replace them?

And also why did VR 3035 get canned?

Age I guess and my guess they sent a old ex Surf LFS there

I’m not sure if they did but I will have to confirm

Had a bit of free time so I went through the document with the schedules to see what service changes were planned. I will summarize by sector below:

Chambly-Richelieu-Carignan:

  • New network in effect in line with the REM opening.
  • I will highlight the off-peak service:
    • 3 local lines run off peak now, compared to one previously
      • Notably, Marieville gets weekend and midday/evening service with route 105.
    • 481 REM Brossard-Chambly Park & Ride operates minimum half hourly all day weekdays, every 40 minutes weekends.
    • 681 Longueuil-Chambly Park&Ride operates hourly all day weekdays. 680 Longueuil-Chambly every 80 minutes weekends.

Vallée du Richelieu:

  • Line 300 now terminates at REM Brossard. Slightly improved service hours (earlier/later start/end times) and frequency. However it remains peak direction only, aside from a couple trips.
  • Line 30 Ste. Julie-St. Hyacinthe transferred to Ste. Julie sector.
  • I didn't see any blocks dedicated to on-demand service. Hopefully this doesn't mean they switch to using taxis like in Terrebonne.

Sainte-Julie:

  • Line 30 Ste. Julie-St. Hyacinthe transferred from Vallée du Richelieu sector.
  • Line 600 now terminates at REM Brossard with 15-minute peak frequency (compared to 20-30 now). Still only a couple trips midday.

Sud-Ouest

  • HSL sector (lines 111 and 140) absorbed to SO sector.
  • Châteauguay Park & Ride becomes a major terminus
    • Lines 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 29 now terminate there rather than go to Angrignon. They operate as loops.
    • Line 33 terminus moved there.
    • Line 111 terminates there outside rush hour. Select departures to Angrignon/André-Laurendeau and Mansfield during rush hour.
  • New rush hour only lines 431 and 432 between Châteauguay Park & Ride and Angrignon. Confusingly, they seem the same, but one route number is used towards Châteauguay, the other towards Angrignon.
  • Line 1 has hourly service on weekends, compared to 90 minutes currently.
  • Line 111 has at least hourly service now at all times (including weekends), compared to irregular schedules as bad as every 3 hours currently.

@Gerbil when will the 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26 and 29 become loops?

Looks like Transdev 6030(33)5's Girouette (the electronic sign) still has some older codes from before the REM network reform... as the 323 and 124 were exo Le Richelain routes that got abolished due to the opening of the REM

This is an exo Sud-Ouest vehicle by the way, also I want to shout out the driver (TRAINS4EVER on YouTube) for letting me see these codes in action!

Transbus 1243 is being used as a spare for the 40 for a while now, looks like they're having trouble with their coaches.

Are all 2nd gens done at transcobec? (611-613 and 642)

Re: Transdev: any idea where are new LFS and Vicinity going? From memory, SJU, VR and CRC contracts will start on July 1st (and SOHSL on October 1st iirc), so these sectors should be getting new buses. Are the LFS diesel or hybrid (as some rumors have said)?

Is Transdev going to buy new coaches for Limocar? They seem to be sending lots of commuter-spec coaches on that service lately...

Also why is 8118 done?

Apparently Transdev got the L'assomption contrat

If true, does that mean most Keolis buses will be sent to Terrebonne-Mascouche?

Yes it is and the buses will be bought ( in option ) and the Repentigny's garage will be rented by Transdev

Anyone knows if Transdev will purchase Keolis' fleet for L'Assomption? I'm curious because this will dictate when Transdev will take over operations from Keolis.

Also, anyone knows what's up with Transdev running the casino shuttles? There's a tender on SEAO closing in two days for a contract starting on September 2, 2024.

Otherwise, La Québécoise gets the new Sorel contract. No news for the Varennes sector yet.

Varennes goes to Keolis, a first venture to the south shore for Keolis.

With the new SEAO, we are unable to see what the winner bid on or what option they choose as they lock the documents after the bid closes.

With keolis's takeover of varennes, my guess is that keolis is going to sent their assomption buses to sorel-varenne

Depends if Transdev took the option to purchase the fleet for Assomption. The tender had 2 options, Purchase the current fleet and start in November or start in January with no purchase of fleet. We don<t know what Trasdev choose.

The Varennes contract also had an option to purchase the current fleet of buses.

It's July 1st, 2025 if Transdev chooses to not acquire the current Keolis fleet. Otherwise it'll be November 1st, 2024.

Exo La Presqu'ile

Have the EZ Riders 361, and 362 retired?  I haven't noticed them out all summer.  And to add to it, Vicinity bus 363 that would normally be found on Valleyfield's line 99, was running on lines 15 and 35 in Vaudreuil-Dorion.
