Kumiko Oumae
The Line 3 Bus Replacement has launched. When I saw #3488 on 38A, the signs has read: 38 HIGHLAND CREEK / TO ROUGE HILL GO STATION / via SCARBOROUGH CENTRE It would appear the "A" lettering is missing from the signage. Xtrazsteve
All the 507s I seen are just displaying 501. I thought they had months to do this. 70 still displays 70A even though it’s been a single branch route for months now.
Xtrazsteve
If I can nominate the worst sign ever, I'll go for the 903B It reads 903B KENNEDY STN // SCARB EXPRESS > KENNEDY STN // TO SCARB CTR STN Not only does it have both terminals on the same sign. Who spells it as Scarb Ctr? I wish the gone back to their old way have spell it like the 86 SCARBORO The signs are very inconsistent. The 38 as mention, received a reprogram but the 129B to Steeles did not. 129 says to Kennedy Station but 985A says to Kennedy Stn

Should be the old “903 KENNEDY STN EXPRESS” and the new “903A CENTENNIAL COLLEGE EXPRESS” and the old one to stc. The name change also sounds stupid “Kennedy Stn-Scarborough” from kennedy station to what area in scarborough?? Another route has it say SCARB CTR STN on the side dest from the summer board period. I cant wrap my hand around which one but im guessing

Xtrazsteve
The 38 is always subjected to branch letter fun. At least they didn't mix the the branch letters like last time. 2 hours ago, wil9402 said: 38 showed, and still shows, "Scarborough Ctr". I believe 939 has been showing "Scarb Ctr Stn" for a while. It's understandable for a side sign but when then have the entire front sign with plenty of space. They keep the KENNEDY STN part on top and just put To Scarb Ctr Stn instead they could just use both lines and display To Scarborough // Centre Station. TTC should really work on naming their routes better. This 903 route needs a better name. We have proposed 901 Airport-Eglinton Express that doesn't run on Eglinton. 904 Sheppard-Kennedy Express which doesn't run on Kennedy southbound. 906 Airport-Humber College Express which is an awkward name. Do they need to change the name of 900 to Airport-Kipling Express with the 906 naming? They will be a subject of confusion when people hear only parts of the name. I'll just name the 901 Mt Dennis Express, 903 Scarborough Centre Express, 906 Humber College Express and we don't need a 904 to help fuel popularity for a Line 4 extension.

I've been saying this for some time. 903 Scarborough Centre Express would be perfect. Alternatively I've suggested the 903 adopt the Scarborough RT name but I don't think it'd work as well now that the route has been extended to Centennial College. Here are a few horrible signs I snapped quick iPhone pics of: This is similar to the 903B you mentioned. The route name being a subway station is just... Complete waste of space on that top line. The exposure before this reads 939S FINCH // E X P R E S S Others: - 939A displays TO FINCH STN > via SCARB CTR STN while 939B displays TO FINCH WEST STN > via SCARBOROUGH CTR STN spelled out in full - Like 939S above, 131 N U G G E T is now 131 NUGGET; for such a short name it looks weird condensed
Xtrazsteve
The kids making these signs really try to make every sign unique. Unfortunately that wins no awards here the 131 says NUGGET // via Scarborough Center in full text. Yet half the signs are scarb ctr

Last time i checked kennedy station wasn't a major street or road. I don't know why these signs even get approved or did the entire team get replaced by rookies or contracted?? It hasn’t been this bad till late Theres a new or old, regardless super weird 512 St Clair West Stn sign for buses, it was like this ROUTE 512>ST CLAIR WEST>TO ST CLAIR>WEST STATION>VIA ST CLAIR>SHORT TURN The front was fine though

Currently according to the ttc website, Eastbound 507's display 507 Long Branch To Humber but that westbound cars say 501 Queen Short Turn but as with here, i've heard reports that there isn't any proper signage for the 507 programmed yet which is strange EDIT: Seen update. Still a strange thing to have happen that they didn't havd 507 exposures ready to go
wil9402
They have fixed the 38 signage over the weekend, adding back the branch letter to the signage. They added it to both directions though, so now there is a "38A to Kennedy Stn via Scarborough Centre" and a "38B to Kennedy Stn via Scarborough Centre" despite the routing being the same.
