6254
Among these buses before retirement 6659, 6675, 6710 received new panels and were completely repainted. 6710 came back in January but the new paint job only lasted 3 months.

Orion V
Time to hunt 6742, the one with the cream wall panels. Is it based in Queensway or Birchmount? I think when it went for the 12 yrs rebuild, it got the regular 91 V panels and stuff back. It was the last 91 V to be rebuilt in the 12 yrs one. Orion V
After it got rebuilt, it retained all the same interior panels, light coverings, and the like.. I haven't rode it after the rebuilt but I could've sworn someone here said it lost it all and got back the original stuff.

I'm 90% sure it is still the same as before rebuild. I recall riding it just before it went to Queensway, and as far as I remember it was the same... 409 Thornton
Will you go after VII #7777 after #6666 is retired? Maybe I have to ride it first I've never ridden 7777 I see it a lot though. if 6666 was to retire I would have to go with 6710 or 6690 as all time favorites. EDIT: Nevermind seeing as how 6710 is retired

Your lucky, I have only seen 7777 3-4 times since it was delivered back in 2005. I have yet to ride it, and it is at the division that I ride buses from every weekday. 38 Highland Creek
I have dreaded the days when these "91 V's started retiring. Personally, this is the best bus the TTC owns, (with GM's a close 2nd) Yep, they're the last non-accessible buses the TTC ordered. Had to wait 5 years before their lift-equipped cousins made their debut in service.
BusFanForever
I have dreaded the days when these "91 V's started retiring. Personally, this is the best bus the TTC owns, (with GM's a close 2nd) I have yet to drive one but from what I hear they one of the better performing buses in the fleet as well. 6640 or 6641 has some dangerous rust on the passenger side. Those are just speed holes jk.. probably just the typical side panel rust which poses no real danger since it more of a cosmetic issue currently and not a structural one. The really bad ones should eventually be repaired unless they are retired first.

BusFanForever
Don't tell me they're going to start dropping like flies (the Classics) I would not be suprised to see at least one mass retirement from this series this year. It all comes down to how long the bodies last and if they are worth fixing. Repairing the frame on these buses is quite labour intensive and not worth doing on a vehicle which is only going to last another year or two. The outer bodies of 6731 and 6738 were in very rough shape compared to other Orion V's so I was not suprised to see those two retired. On the other hand recently refurbished 6641 was in the shop today and it looks better than most 7000's do. BTW not sure if it has been posted but 6641's rear fleet # is now in the same position as the 7000/9400 series buses, the front # remains in the same place.
