Too bad about 830.  I'd been thinking about taking a couple of photos of it.  I'm guessing its problems are why the current Traxx Shoes wrap has lasted as long as it has.

I saw a ghost on 8th Street today.  107 came driving along.  The sign said not in service.  I saw it about 15 minutes later parked in the bus stop on Moss Avenue.

@GMC T6H-5307N

I have a few questions:

  1.  Do the 2019 Novas have the new driver's window?
  2.  Can we confirm that there are 10 units?
  3.  How many 97 D40LFs are left now?
  4.  Is it safe to say that 9502 is officially retired?

No (but it is different from previous orders)

There are 7 (1901-1907)

Yes, I believe it was already reported.

I spotted it in a compound beside the garage along with Classic 111. Is this where they park the retired buses?

Compared to regina transit  which only bought 4 buses this year saskatoon bought 7

There's nothing to compare. They each order whatever they need or whatever funding they recieved.

Regina transit 598 went for auction so it might get put in saskatoon as a parts bus

No it won't. It will go to scrap. Saskatoon wont have any use for older Nova's as they only run 3rd and 4th generations.

How is the Detroit Diesel fleet ('97s and '02 artics) doing?

9701, 9703, and 9706 are all doing well, they should be around for at least another six months (safeties will expire then)

211, 213, and 214 are also doing good for the time being

212 has been retired after it blew its engine in January 2018 (yes 2018 not this year)

830 has returned to service and is running around its original gold paint scheme!

1310 and 1311 have also returned to service
