Seashore_518203
Does anyone have time to take a photo or two of the Ex-Regina Classics running for Saskatoon by chance? Would love to see how they look. I just received a fleet list from Saskatoon ... -- Saskatoon Transit 501-504 are listed as ex-Montreal Nova LFS buses from 1997 and 1998 (I do not know specific numbers) -- 16 new looks active (371, 377, 382-84, 386, 398, 400-03, 821, 822, 824, 983, 992) -- The ex-Regina Classics are 572, 573, 576, 580, 582, 584 (it looks like they kept the same numbers) -- Small buses 1008-1011 are listed as 26' low floor buses manufactured by the Molly Corporation with 21 seats. Are these replica trolleys ?? I do not know if the ex-Montreal LFS buses are in service. I will be visiting Saskatoon in late May and will try to get more info then. Are these replica trolleys ?? Upon further review (and looking higher up in the thread), these are Arbocs. On the fleet listing that I received, they were coded MOL which was supposed to be Molly Corporation. I would guess that it actually means Mobility. Persona non grata
I take it you are referring to the Ex-Montreal 'STM' buses? yep Do you have any videos or pictures of Saskatoon buses from more recently? I lived there for about 8 months in 2008, and haven't been back since. I do plan to visit next year when the Brier (curling championship) comes, but I don't know yet. I would like to see some of the signs for the new routes, and the "new" buses. No sorry, I don't normally take pictures of buses as I don't care for them that much anymore. When I was a student riding them for hours daily I was interested, now that I work on a farm outside of town I mostly keep track of the remaining fishbowls I see, for the most part out of habit. Whitecap first Nation runs their own buses to the Dakota Dunes Casino south of the city. When there coach breaks down they have a contract with P.A. Northern to run a bus for them.
