Can I get a list of all the routes that have ever got a LFS artic dispatched on it in the past years?

My understanding is the artics are more maneouverable than the 40' buses.

It's not more maneuverable but very close to a 40 ft Nova LFS. If I remember correctly 40 ft Nova LFS has a 40 ft turning radius and an arctic has 44 ft turning radius.

But hopefully there is no snow on the road, or the artic won't make it up the hill, especially with the two all-way stops.

Anything is possible if you take it slow. I remember a D60LFR was dispatched on the old MiWay 18 (what is mostly replaced by 24 Northwest). The sharp left from Beverly to York made it look like the bus was folded in half, very unique experience.

TTC 8390 was rerouted for a  trip on 21 To Scarborough Centre, 8752 was rerouted on 43B. Most likely will go back to Line 3 later as the other 8600s did 43/21 and went back to 3.

How is this special? Just wondering.

The 760 is required to use Highway 407 as part of its routing, while the D40LFR coaches based at Southwest Division are not equipped with 407ETR transponders. The only buses at SW that have transponders are the 5xx Van Hools (leftover from their time as Viva buses), the 14xx XD40s, and all of the 15/16/17 LFS.

It looks like 1033 was on a 77/760 interline; maybe dispatch forgot that run does a 760. Would be interesting to see if YRT gets dinged for running a bus on Highway 407 without the transponder.

McNicoll buses on the 61. Can someone tell me if this is now a McNicoll route or just RADS?

Due to planned construction on Duplex Ave this month, the TTC scheduled the 51 and 61 to interline for this board period, with all buses on the combined route to be provided by McNicoll.

Of course, the construction was cancelled at the last minute, but the schedules were already committed.

Mcnciol's 51 Leslie interline with 61 until further notice. Ttc anticipated duplex will be closed for thr current board period.  However eglinton crosstown decided to postpone the closure, ttc decided to continue with the interline.  In fact, the interlining will continue till early October and may be extended.

With that, the 61 and 939 are now two McNicoll routes operated west of Yonge. I’d expect the 61 to go to Eglinton along with the 13 (and the 97, 14/28) or the 61 back to Wilson once LINE 5 EGLINTON opens and the 51 LESLIE is rerouted to Donlands replacing much of the 56 LEASIDE (service on Eglinton is replaced by the truncated 34 EGLINTON bus).

Speaking of McNicoll, the service summary says the 115 is there but operated at Wilson. Why can’t they move both the 78 and 115 back to McNicoll?

I thought this was discussed here before. The relief point is so far away from McNicoll it made more sense to send ops from Wilson instead. There is a cost to send ops to the route and paying them to ride the bus an hour is not a smart choice.

from my understanding the 61 will return to Wilson once the closure at Duplex is complete.  We are still waiting for the Eglinton Crosstown team to close it down and do whatever construction is needed.

Same thing for the 100. 100 will go back to Eglinton once the construction at Broadview is complete

YRT 2013 on a 720/107 (non-B) interline

1820 was the original bus on that schedule; looks like it was changed off at Vaughan Mills just after 7pm, when 2013 replaced it. There's usually a standby artic hanging around SmartVMC Terminal on weekends, so I suspect that's how 2013 got used on the 720.

1431 came out to change 2013 off at Vaughan Mills (again) around 8:50pm, so 2013 never actually made it onto the 107.

TTC was running a number of shuttles around the York University campus on Sunday to shuttle patrons to the National Bank Open tennis event at Sobeys Stadium. Units observed include 7965, 8110, and 8913 (not too common to see a 7900 running around York U these days).

Miway TransSee

2283 is out as a 35 Eglinton not too sure if this is RARE or not to have articulated buses on the 35 Eglinton route.

At least before COVID, I know it was common that articulated buses would appear on route 35 on weekdays. It is one of the routes that is quite overcrowded along with route 42.
