TTCNLFBT Posted September 1, 2006 Report Posted September 1, 2006 20xx: 2017 was active on the 96E this morning. 26xx updates: 2600, 09, 11 were on 96. 2615 was doing the 96E this moning. This afternoon 2613 and 2615 were at the Arrow Garage. 2246, 2251, 2412, and 2824 have been retired at Arrow. And finally, (TTC) Orion VII 'Hybrid' Demo # 7000 was at Arrow Garage today. The supervisor at Arrow told me he wasn't sure why it's there.
shambala Posted September 1, 2006 Report Posted September 1, 2006 7978 is the only diesel that has yet to arrive, while 1070, 1073-1149 have not been seen yet. 7978 seen this afternoon in service on the 90.

Were there any 2600s on 96 in the afternoon, I rode 2846 on 96 from York Mills to Wilson and then I waited At Wilson for about 10 minutes. I saw about 10-12 96 buses go by and none were 2600s, majority of them were hybrids, an diesel VII or two, 2846, 2017(it was out in the afternoon) and an RTS. Anyways, 7925 was on 32S today(it was heading west on Eglinton near Avenue Rd). EDIT: Forgot to say, a 24XX was on 109S today.
D. DeLarge Posted September 2, 2006 Report Posted September 2, 2006 2246, 2251, 2412, and 2824 have been retired at Arrow. I recall 2412 and 2824 were sitting parked at Arrow since around July 10th with 2257.

leylandvictory2 Posted September 2, 2006 Report Posted September 2, 2006 one of the TTC streetcar (4154) iirc has the automatic stop announcement. It was on Bathust this afternoon and evening.
York Transit Posted September 2, 2006 Report Posted September 2, 2006 I saw either, 5818/5819, or 5918/5919, with the black area around the lights painted grey. I'm not sure because it went by fast, but I'm pretty sure that's what I saw... At first, I thought it was a T1. Can anyone confirm this? Wilson Wu Markham, ON
new.flyer.408 Posted September 2, 2006 Author Report Posted September 2, 2006 A couple of H6 have repainted caps, 5910 being another one.

Are some of them on their way to Malvern?
Enviro 500 Posted September 2, 2006 Report Posted September 2, 2006 Sightings report: TTC #7457 was wrapped-up and it is now a Doritos bus Enjoy! Dave PS: Special thanks to A.Wong for resizing + watermark my pictures!
Curtis 7207 Posted September 2, 2006 Report Posted September 2, 2006 [2246, 2251, 2412, and 2824 have been retired at Arrow. 2246, 2251 and 2412 are pretty recent rebuilds. I would be really surprised if they did retire them. But, for the strangest reason, Arrow loves pulling most recent rebuilds out of service and leaving them there for months. Examples being 2279, which was out of service since around October and November of last year, and just returned late August, 2379 and 2435 which were sitting out of service for a while this year but is no longer there, maybe at Hillcrest.

King of Kings Posted September 2, 2006 Report Posted September 2, 2006 Is the TTC following the same rule as MT? Maybe there just wasn't enough detail on the wrap to fully wrap the windows like OC Transpo does. I see also that whoever did the wrap wrapped around the windows, like they have at OC Transpo as well, when, before when OC had wraps, around the windows(the black area) was left out. They even did the rubber over the wheels, and the rubber on the rear door as well. OC 4439

wil9402 Posted September 2, 2006 Report Posted September 2, 2006 7843 & 7871 both wrapped for Bell were on 64 today.
wil9402 Posted September 2, 2006 Report Posted September 2, 2006 I'm not sure if anyone mentioned this yet but 9434 has been rebuit, I saw it deadheading on Allen Rd yesterday Afternoon.
Felix Posted September 3, 2006 Report Posted September 3, 2006 2477 moved from Wilson to Malvern. It was on the 130 yesterday evening.
Curtis 7207 Posted September 3, 2006 Report Posted September 3, 2006 2477 moved from Wilson to Malvern. It was on the 130 yesterday evening. 2477 was moved to Wilson a few months ago, I believe May or June. I'm not sure if anyone mentioned this yet but 9434 has been rebuit, I saw it deadheading on Allen Rd yesterday Afternoon. Yeah, I spotted it rebuilt on the 29 this Wednesday.
leylandvictory2 Posted September 3, 2006 Report Posted September 3, 2006 7000 was on rte 39 and broke down eastbound near Finch and Kenndy Road. Also as you probably know 7000 has 2 tailights. One (located on the engine cover) is inoperational. TTC painted over the taillight with white paint. I am not sure if anybody menitoned this or not.
Archer Posted September 3, 2006 Report Posted September 3, 2006 PCC 4500 was out on a charter today; I spotted it this afternoon around 4:30 or so heading eastbound along College @ University Ave.
