      Saddened by loss of Winnipeg Transit driver   02/15/2017

      We are saddened by the loss of Winnipeg Transit driver Irvine (Jubal) Fraser who was attacked while on the job and unfortunately passed away.

Are 20 of these 1995 D40LF buses still being sold to Winnipeg transit or is that still a rumour and if they are indeed being sold any word on when winnipeg will start seeing these buses.

Not sure on the number of units sold but if you scroll back a few pages in this post you will see some pictures of buses with a sign in the windshield that says "sold do not put into service" rumor has it there off to Winnipeg

ok thank's i was a little curious if it was winnipeg or not cause in october are director of transit did say they were looking at buying used buses to stock up are fleet.

Hey... those buses sold to Winnipeg have little to no heat during the cold Calgary deep freeze as I can remember back in the day when I used to drive bus. I wonder how they will hold up in Winnipeg? They do have a heater in the cab behind the rear seat that cooks your back if I remember....

The 1995 D40LF's that were parked outside on the Tarmac with "Sold" signs in them have now been moved to the east side of the garage near the shops.
