Interesting Burlington sighting from last night of note:

At 6:30pm, Blue Birds 7030-06 and 7027-06 were operating as an 11-North and 15-North respectively. Considering the trips they were on, 7027 was to have been out there until 11:20pm that evening as well as 7030, which would've ended at 7:49pm, would continue as a partial 4 branch between Appleby GO and Rio-Can, ending at 10pm.

I guess for the time-being, they're stretching out their service time, being out there on anything but GO specials.

A unique sighting:

Orion V 7079-94 possibly being out there as a mid-day 10 or a possible change off for a previous LF bus. Very rare. This was from yesterday, May 5th.

Speaking of rare, I think people of Windsor would be pleased at this one:

While browsing through the Detroit Windsor Tunnel cameras, I happened to spot 912 first as a rush-hour extra bus on the tunnel route.

Later this evening, it was seen on the Red Wings Special, heading into Detroit at 9:20pm just making its entrance into the Motor City. :)

Lucky. I haven't seen 912 in a few weeks!

Bump*

Don't mind if I post a few sightings. I wanted to note a funny trend that I'm starting to notice for the past couple of weeks.

7002-09 has been found on the 10 for the past two weeks. 7050-10 has also been on the 10 since Monday.

Another trend is that 7001-09 has been doing runs on the 15/11 (:05 departures, Appleby Go) for the past week and a half. 7007-09 has been on the 15/11 for the past two days in the :35 departures. The 11/15 has seen 7049-10 travel on its routes for the past two weeks whereas 7048-10 has been on the 4/5 for the past two days, perhaps starting a new streak or a trend.too. And since yesterday, 7010-09 has been on the 1 on two consecutive days.

Now, I'm not sure if there are drivers whom just favour getting a specific bus for the start of their runs. I just find it unique.

burlington sightings:

1: 7039-07, 7010-09, 7046-10

2/3: 7037-07, 7040-07

I don't usually write up sightings reports as often anymore unless if there is something that changes in usual sightings' patterns. Yesterday in Burlington, there may be a start of a shift of some sort, not too sure.

7 of the 9 Inveros were in service yesterday afternoon. Seeing as it was a Saturday, it was quite unusual to have that many Inveros, even just 1, to operate on a Saturday. It has been D40LF'ed for the past 2-3 years. Here's a run-down of what was seen:

1: 7001, 7034, 7040, & 7045

2/3: 7023

3/2: 7005, 7021

6: 7020*, 7024

10: 7035, 7039, 7020*

11/15: 7043

12: 7022$, 7009, (7047)

15/11: 7019, 7037

*: 7020 was first in service early morning on the 6. It was later found on the 10/16 interline later on in the day, at around 5pm.

$: 7022 was on the 12 early morning and was changed off for 7047 later in the day.

Bit of a bump here.

I'd want to summerize of the first day of new changes here in Burlington.

There is one big change that has occurred involving the 11, 15 and the 10.

It seems that any 10 that comes into Appleby Go station would then operate as a 11 or a 15, depending on teh time it arrives there.

Conversly, any 15 or 11 that pulls into Appleby Go Station, becomes a 10. I found that to occur when I got off 7051-10 as a 11-South, became a 10 right away.

10/11/15: 7004, 7010 (PM), 7017 (PM), 7021 (PM), 7022 (PM), 7039, 7043, 7051 & 7057.

1/21: 7006, (PM), 7007, (PM), 7034*, 7036&, 7038, 7045, (PM), 7046, 7056 (PM).

2/3: 7037, 7032 (PM), 7048.

3/2: 7050,7058, 7019 (PM)

4A: 7002

6: 7003

80: 7047; 81: 7024 (PM)

12: 7054!, 7049

! Pulled into the north loop of Burlington GO the wrong way. Driver I knew well, too. Joked that he may have been in London England driving.

*7034 was changed off for 7036 on the 1/21 interline.

7052 and 7053 on the 101 (PM).

There's one thing about the 101 stop @ Burlington GO I really don't like. I will be posting abotu that as well as the overall passenger reactions to the services thus far.

Pardon the bump here, but a unique sighting for Burlington Transit.

For the first time in about 3 years or so, a Blue Bird was in service (probably still is) on the 4/A/5. It was 7027-06. It just happened to be heading west just as a high school around Rexway/Cumberland was getting out. A packed Bird it turned out to be. Somehow, everyone on board managed to find seats.

Meanwhile, 7040 & 7047 were the other two on the 4/5.

7050, 7044 & 7006 (PM) on the 1/21.

7058 on the 101.

7010 and 7021 (PM) on the 2/3;

7056 & 7011 (PM) on the 3/2;

7035 (PM) and 7003 on the 12.

7002, 7033, 7041 & 7046 on the 10/11/15.

St.Catharines usually lends one to Welland if needed. On some ocassions an SCT unit was running the 60/65.
