newflyerinvero
Burlington Transit (Saturday Service): The 12 had Invero 7024-03 (I rode) and Orion V 7066-91 The 6 had Orion V 7077-94 and a Blue Bird. The 1/10 had D40LF's 7033-06, 7034-06 (Garden On Wheels)*I rode twice, along with Invero 7017-03 and Orion V's 7069-91 and 7080-94. The 11/15 had Inveros 7023-03 (HF trip)*I rode and 7021-03. Lastly, the 2/3 had Classic 7006-86 and Invero 7019-03 (rolling grape). 3/2: Invero 7022-03 and Orion V 7065-91. Ya...first time in a couple of weeks to see a Classic operating on a Saturday! BT Invero
HSR 9603 & 9607 were doing the 5A today, and 510317 & 510519 were on the 1. I noticed most of the fleet number is gone from the inside of 510519 yet this bus isn't even a year old! The 51 seemed to be all Classics, one of which was 8705. Gee, I've explained this many times about it! There are some drivers who do mischief so they can't get complant from passengers. Route 51 is always a HF bus, occasionally LF on night runs. Aztek985
Today's Sightings: In GRT land, I saw 2301 and 2603 on the 51, and 2305 was on the 56. I got pictures of them all . In HSR land, I saw all C40LFs.
newflyerinvero
Some Sunday sightings... From Burlington at around 5:45pm, D40LF's 7033-06, 7035-06 and Invero 7023-03 were on the 1/10. At about 5 to 6pm, D40LF 7034-06 was on the 6...no one was on this bus...thus proving that no one couldn't transfer to any other bus at the GO as all of the others were gone! The 2/3 and the 3/2 had Inveros. In Oakville...6:25pm: 3 D40LFR's serving the 14, 19 and 24 while a Blue Bird was on the Zone Express service. Root Admin ORION Posted September 18, 2006 Root Admin Report Share Posted September 18, 2006 3 D40LFR's serving the 14, 19 and 24 while a Blue Bird was on the Zone Express service. Yeah, we tried to see if dispatching the newer buses (faster - which I know doesn't sound the way I want it to sound) to see if they can keep up on the time, on each route, every hour. We have been experiencing major delays on the 14/24, and the past few Sundays, we've had to get help from zone express to cover parts of the 14/24 routes to the GO Station. 14 was leaving Lakeside mostly 10-15 minutes late each hour... BT Invero
Rode two crush-loaded HSR Classics this evening, 8613 on the 10 and 8611 on the 51. 510506 and 510303 were on 25/26, and the 5A/C had 510215 and an Orion VI CNG. I also saw two 91 Orion V CNGs heading westbound through Westdale, presumably on the 51 as the 10 was done for the night when the buses went by. There was also an 89 Orion V at either the 4 or 22 stop on James St. by Gore Park at 8pm.
newflyerinvero
There was also an 89 Orion V at either the 4 or 22 stop on James St. by Gore Park at 8pm. The 22-Upper Ottawa stop is located at Gore Park, where as the Route 4 stop is at James Street, outside of Gore Park. You probably saw that V at the 4-Bayfront bus stop. Highly unlikely that an Orion V would be serving the 22.

newflyerinvero
Burlington Transit: 7079-94 and Invero 7020-03 on the 11/15 while Invero 7019-03 (rolling grape INvero) on the 15/11. The 4/5 had Blue Birds 7027 and 28-06. 2/3: Classic 7016-83 3/2: Invero 7025-03 (rolling blueberry), Orion V 7078-94, Classic 7014-83 as a rush-hour add on. 1/10: Orion V 7069-91, D40LF's 7033 and 7034-06 (rolling garden)...Inveros 7018-03 (strawberry swrirl...rush-hour addon), 7009-03, 7021-03. Orion V 7080-94 (rush hour add on). 12: Classic 7012-83 and Orion V 7077-94. The 6 had Classic 7004-85. I saw two recently...one of them for Hamilton Farm and Hamilton Produce (2 seperate D40LF's) and another one today was in a red and white full wrap. Heck, I can remember when 510502 was wrapped for Mapleview Centre in Burlington...it was imintating the "original" rolling grape Invero...

newflyerinvero
Saturday Burlington Transit Service: The 11/15 had Orion V 7065-91 which would usually be a LF trip... The 15/11 meanwhile had Orion V 7079-94 on its regular HF trip. The 1/10 had Orion V's 7062-90, 7078-94 (on a LF trip), D40LF 7033-06 (on a HF trip), D40LF 7035-06 and Orion V 7066-91 (on a LF trip)...I guess BT today couldn't figure out whether to put out highfloors or lowfloors... The 12 had Orion V's 7068-91 and 7069-91. The 6 had Blue Bird 7029-06. Lastly, Orion V 7067-91 was on the 2/3 while Orion V 7077-94 on the 3/2. Both of them were on their regularly scheduled HF trips. Note: After getting off 7066-91 as the 1-West...transferring to the 2-North at the Burlington GO at around 3:15pm this afternoon, that V was pulling out of the GO, and it stopped. I wasn't sure what was wrong until when a coupple other buses were turning right onto Fairview Street. I heard on the radio that Orion V 7066-91 may have broken down just after transferring...good timing on on the V's part! The funny thing about that bus was that every 3 seconds or so, at the back, it sounded as if the A/C was trying to come on and then it abruptly shut off about a half second later. It was doing that constantly and I didn't think it was an issue.....well, until leaving Burlington GO and seeing it stop just outside of the GO there, made me think...well, it just wasn't 7066-91's day afterall, even if it was being given a treat to be on an LF trip which would last into late tonight... oh well. Should've put out a Classic instead!

newflyerinvero
Burlington Transit: Theme: Classics revenge! For the most part, in the mess of the 1/10 today, there were 2 highfloors on the mid-day combo of routes. Usually there'd be one where the rest are low floor. Those two highfloors were Classic 7005-85 (on the scheduled highfloor run during the mid-day) and Orion V 7069-91. This V...one of the double seats on the driver-side has it's back metal portion almost ripped out...the majority of the metal facing of the back of the seat was hanging, but just enough that it I or anyone else could pull it out completely. There wasn't another 1-East bus in Hamilton after the one which left at 3:55pm...the next one didn't come until 4:25pm...boy, I feel sorry for those drivers...Two others buses I remember which joined in at the rush-hour were Classic 7011-83 and I think Orion V 7079-94. The 11/15 had Classic 7002-85 while the 15/11 had Invero 7023-03 and Orion V 7061-90. The 6 had Classic 7001-84. The 12 had Orion V 7078-94 and Classic 7054-87. Classic 7016-83 was on the 3/2 while Classic 7006-86 joined it during rush hour. The 2/3 though had Orion V 7068-91. Orion V 7063-90 was doing the 7-Tyandaga (it's been a long time since I've reported a bus on the 7). Orion V 7067-91 was a rush-hour add on for the Route 8. HSR: Since I was able to see so many fleet numbers, I'll mention what's note-worthy: 8909, 8906 and 8713. (looks more and more that those GM's are long gone) 8614 on the 41-Mohawk. 8607, 8613 both on the 10-Beeline. The strangest: 8915 being on the 34 when it's considered: "Full ALF Service". MCI Classic
That sounds early, cause DRT D40LF wouldn't be delivered till next year. Do you have any idea's Sherman about any other property ordering white D40LF's ? maybe YRT ? Heading westbound FROM London? Not the Durham Region then. Two heading westbound on the 401 in Milton, and another one heading westbound on the 401 near Kitchener.
