cmc12
Found another A2 series at SN Diesel tonight. Toronto Fire Dept. owns the bus, ex-1442. Along they've added sirens and extra strobe lights on the exterior. Saw that one sitting on Locke Street this morning in front of GO 2433:

Yes, what Sherman said. Spend the extra few seconds making sure there's nothing in your shot, or getting closer to the bus, and you'll be thanking yourself in the future! hamiltontransithistory
I may have seen an old Rek-Vee club car today. It was in one of the scrap yards on Queen St W in Port Credit, just west of Mississauga Rd. I saw it from the GO train I was riding on. Unfortunately my digital camera focused on the raindrops on the window and not on the scrap yard. Of course, it may have been an old camper. Does anyone live in the area, who could go check it out? Here it is in Google Maps, I think it is an old camper http://maps.google.ca/maps/mpl?ie=UTF8&...,329.65,,1,2.
D. DeLarge
In the Galaxy Truck/Magic Bus/Star Coach lot at Cherry St: I was wondering who owned those two white coaches numbered 4942 and 4943. Now it looks like they may be ex-GO units, along with that 1503.
YRT-Guy
Spotted an Ex-GO at Vaughan Mills Mall today belonging to Elliott Lake Bob Cats. It still had the green colour on the roof line above the windows, still had the GO sticker on the front but it was simply whited out and had the fleet number 1446 in the same GO font and located in the same spots on the front of the bus, the two top corners beside the destination sign (not sure if this was still the GO transit fleet number or not). D. DeLarge
A list of ex-GO 102A3 dispositions. Figuring out which is which ex-GO unit is a whole different matter: <Various Hotels> 47, 48, 56, 57, 58 Star Coach Lines 4942, 4943, 1503 McCoy Bus Service 401, 402, 403, 404, 405 *two 102A3's unaccounted for. I suspect there is one company operating the shuttle services for the Sheraton, Embassy, Mariott Hotels and Magnificent tours. Here's what I have so far for their ex GO roster: Embassy 47 = 102A3 Embassy 48 = 102A3 Embassy 50 = 102A2 Embassy 51 = 102A2 (ex-GO 1420) Embassy 52 = 102A2 Magnificent 53 = 102A2 Mariott 54 = 102A2 (ex-GO 1444) Mariott 55 = 102A2 Magnificent 56 = 102A3 Sheraton 57 = 102A3 Magnificent 58 = 102A3

Another thing that would be interesting to look into are the buses sold to the New York Airport Service. They got a ton of buses from GO, but only 1 or 2 have been linked to specific GO fleet numbers.

The driver must have went to get some lunch nearby or something... What kind of work did they have done to them? Minus the paint job. They were not very reliable even after rebuild...i wonder if Can-air has any spares for this route? Does the same bus do a round trip everyday? What equipment was doing it before? It must be reliable as it's the only bus i have seen do the route in a while, I saw it two times last week, once on the 401, and once going through Port Perry.
