Ex-GO Coaches

York Region Police may have aquired one of the ex-GO C3 as I saw on Hwy 400 last night.

Just saw it this morning at SN Diesel, indeed YRP acquired one of the ex-GO C3. It may be ex-1531 as it was there a month ago, all white!

Sorry for the late reply, but I recall somewhere stating that GO 1531 is Can-Ar property? I added the information to the wiki some time ago, and I remember reading about it. B)

And a shot of Ex-GO #1448 at the Buchart Gardens, Brentwoood Bay, BC (Part of greater Victoria). I believe a much better image of this same bus has been posted on the board somewhere!

Should be owned by Golden Times Holidays:

How did you find that out? They don't give rosters out.

Having a very close look at where the old GO numbers were above the windshield. Under ideal conditions, you can see the reflection of the old GO number. Got a funny look from the driver though

Would appreciate it if you or others that frequently encounter McCoy buses can check :D

Sorry but I have no interest in McCoy, although I can tell you that there are five of them there, 401-405.

Whoa, I forgot to mention, a few weeks ago I saw an Ex-GO 102A2 at York University. It was completely repainted, but retained the rollsign and part of the front fleet number (14**). Unfortunately, it had left by the time I got off my bus, so I couldn't get a closer look. :P

There's some sort of Shuttle Service called "Ottawa South Mountain" running ex-GO Transit 102A2's. I can't seem to find any information regarding this company but I saw one of their buses today near the Ottawa Airport heading down Mitch Owens drive. It had a run number box in the winshield like a standard transit bus.

Saw the same bus (painted red) today on the Mackenzie King Bridge. It is ex-GO # 1424. This company now has a website up with lots of info - www.smtntransit.com

I also saw another ex-GO 102A2 painted blue parked downtown that I thought belongs to this company but their website indicates the second bus is an MC-9.

Was down in Montreal last week, I saw an A2, all white with rectangle LED tailight. But the front door was giveaway as it has a sedan door rather the plug door. Wasn't too sure if that's an ex-GO or not as they are not many A2's were build.

No photos, sorry.

Not exactly a Coach, but last month some friends of mine and I found Ex-GO Transit D40S #1908 in a scrapyard in Winnipeg. Can't seem to find my image of that bus at the moment but when I do, I will post it here if anyone is interested.

Please do.

On that topic, I've seen a shot of a 19xx in a scrapyard in Hamilton ON. I believe the photographer may be a member of this board...

Here's New York Airport Service #147, an ex-GO MCI A-Series (the imprint of the GO logo could be seen on the front, although not very well in this photo.) Quite ironically it carries an adwrap for JetBlue Airways, advertising their service to be "more than just a bus with wings." Anyone know the former GO number?
