it seems that they didn't modify its great scheme on the XD40, while the scheme looks extremely perfect with D40LF due to its flat front grill, it doesn't look as great on the Xcelsior which has more curve at the front. Anyway can't wait to see the actual bus!

Well smartie pants if you're offering to pay my air fare from Edmonton to Toronto and back plus car rental I will. Until such time how about just answering my question.

I will pass on that but if you are willing to pay me gas money to drive from Hamilton to Orillia, I will happily answer your question.

Until then, a quick check of Council reports on line shows nothing new so I would have to assume that nothing has changed.

A newspaper article appeared in Orillia Today last Wednesday the 16th of December, dealing with the school bus issue.

According to the article, the City is expected to meet with high-level officials with First Student in January of 2016, concerning the maintenance issues and the issues involving replacement school buses which don't conform with AODA standards, along with the subsequent dissatisfaction of the ridership with these buses. The alderman who was interviewed raised the possibility of doing what Barrie did, and not renew the City's contract with FSC.

Also noted in the article, three new buses have been ordered at a cost of $1.4M, but won't be in service until November 2016.

The article can be found in the Orillia Today newspaper (online: simcoe.com) from December 16th, 2015, under "Orillia's transit wars focus of meeting: Ainsworth".

Someone commented on my video that 9208 is retired.

Wonder if 9208 Is still sitting there. Friend of mine who drives for OT says 9107 and 9208 we're bought by a private owner east of Orillia on a farm somewhee. I took a drive there last spring and couldn't find anything. If anyone has updates please let me know even about new buses service changes etc.

A week or so ago I was with a friend in Orillia, and we stopped by the terminal.

No school buses were out, the proper buses were on it.

0415 was running, surprisingly, It was signed for South B, but according to my friend was running in the north end signed incorrectly.

One XD40 was running West Ridge, 1221.

Two D40LFs were also running, 0918 on the Laclie route and 0816 on South A.

Either they managed to get a hold on the maintenance issues or we were lucky, but it was a nice change of scenery.
