So from what I saw on Bus Drawings, is that 9711 the Chapmion Solo looks active again.

Is the Orion 1 #8112 retired?

A friend of mine went there not long ago and gave me the info:

Orion I is long gone.

Newest D40LF is 0816 and 17, in service. Very nice livery with the bus BTW.

Current in service are EZ-Rider Max 0715 and EZ-Rider II 0414.

Solo 9711, 0113 Thomas TL960 are for backup fleet.

9107, 9208 and 09 Orion V are now in storage. No plans to retire them yet.

Interesting, so they only need 4 buses to privide base service?

With little growth, yeah. They used two buses all the time for everyday service.

For the most part they run 4 buses. At rush hour they have one extra bus running, it's used on a peak period route. If you want a photo of there last Champion Solo check my photo on Peter's site.

I know Ex-Oshawa 148 went to Orillia, but was it used for service? Wiki says 148 went To Orillia Transit

could some one clarify this?

Here is a link for the pic

Orillia doesn't need extra buses, this bus is sitting by a dead field.

Whoever wrote on the Wiki is incorrect.

it was bought by a private person who lives in Orillia not sure what it is used for; storage or chicken coop or something.

Are 9711 (SoLo) and 0113 (TL960) still used as a backup? If so, I'm hoping to have a visit to the Garage or charter the Solo.

Time to dig up an older thread. I was in Orillia today and can offer the following update:

New Flyer D40LF 0918 and 0919 have not been delivered yet. Orillia was originally told that they would be delivered by December but apparently the latest is that they will now not be delivered until March 2010.

Thus 0113 is still used as a backup but it had an accident about a month ago and is currently in the body shop getting fixed. Champion Solo 9711 was sold about a year ago and is no longer on the property (sorry Chris W).

Orillia had a minor route restructing in October and there are now 5 buses in service at all times, Monday to Saturday. Buses in service today were 9208, 0414, 0715, 0816, 0817. I do not know the status of the other two Orion V buses (9107, 9209). Nobody was at the garage and the buses are parked inside.

Apparently, when they are really short buses, First Transit (the contractor) uses a school bus in transit service. With the accident to 0113, there were quite a few times during the past month where a school bus was used on the Laclie route.

Looks like the repairs are done, she's sitting at the First Student yard in Newmarket (south side). I think she got a new coat of paint too, looks very spiffy.

Does anyone here have the VINs for 9710 and 9711? I am missing these from my records. Also the license plate for 9710.

Any help would be appreciated.
