Same thing with 28-047 which was on the 211.

Add 31-165, 36-027, 36-036, and 37-010. Seems like the new mirror is on most buses I take now. I wonder what the advantage of it is?

37-004 is still parked outside Stinson with no mirrors.

26-044 was parked outside Frontenac along with St. Laurent's 31-002. uFnx2.gif

I took 30-053 on the 51 on Friday. It wasn't tracking.

SD 29-024 was on the 63 today, also not tracking.

I'm not too surprised to find 31-002 parked at Frontenac. If it broke down at Berri-UQAM, then the closest place to tow it to is Frontenac.

SD 29-015 was on the 215 Sunday night around 20:30.

Mirror is slightly larger and is curved like a convex to cover more of the rear of the bus

Lots of SD buses in the West Island:

  • 25-218: 219
  • 25-229: 496
  • 28-090: 200
  • 29-010: 411
  • 29-012: 405
  • 29-038: 218
  • 29-047: 203
  • 29-051: 191
  • 29-071: 211

Also saw:

  • MR 25-247 on the 495
  • SL 28-023 on the 405.
  • LS 29-091 on the 460.
  • MR 30-062 on the 195 and their 30-066 on the 211.
  • LE 30-222 on the 405.
  • 31-108 on the 219. It now has a tiny rear exterior fleet number.
  • 37-014 on the 485 with passengers on St-Jean but signed as the 160 Barclay.
  • 38-060 on the 209, with the run box saying "COOL".
  • 40-061 on the 405, the only 40-XXX I saw in 45 minutes at Gare Dorval.

39-039 was on the 15 yesterday morning. It had one of the top panels opened and the LED indicated "21". I'm guessing this panel controls the temperature inside the bus?

Meanwhile I'm wondering what they're going to do with the mirrors replaced by the new ones.

Garbage or use them on the older fleet as replacements that isn’t scheduled to receive the new mirrors

39-061 is on the 24 right now and 29-046 is on the 129. They are both equipped with the new driver plexiglass and a huge yellow sign asking people to move at the back. In about 6 weeks, all the buses will be equipped with those.

I took SD 29-010 on the 90-E this afternoon.

I took 29-086 on the 90-W this evening. It seems like it doesn't have TopoDyn anymore. It was very fast to accelerate in contrast to 30-001 which I had yesterday at the same time with the same driver.

A friendly reminder to everyone that if you plan to use public transit, wear a mask. Be sure that the driver actually sees you wearing one. I unfortunately got skipped by the bus driver on the 201-N (my mask was on my wrist and I was calling on my phone)...

37-052 was on the 485. The bus driver played a recording stating that it is mandatory to wear a mask in transit (the message was something like: "Le port du couvre-visage est obligatoire dans le trajet").

I took 29-040 on the 144 both yesterday and today.

Yesterday it had no plexiglass barrier, today it did.

I've seen STL buses 2 or 3 times test driving close to that location last summer, on the eastbound service road after St-Jean. Never got any fleet numbers but it was always a 3rd gen or hybrid. No clue why they're there. I know there's a Cummins facility nearby but I pass by the yard on my way to work and never seen an STL bus parked there...

Also saw SD 28-090 again, on the 468.

Frontenac's 26-023 was on the 141 this afternoon.

St. Denis buses 25-218 was on the 174 and 26-003 on the 225. In return, i noticed St. Denis has a number of their buses like 28-028, 28-033, 28-038, etc

Anjou's 28-060 was on the 72. uFnx2.gif

I’ve also seen a STL hybrid right in front of Walmart too. It was around a month ago.
