LE 24-275 might be a camera violation on the 170 tonight:

Again, it seems like the trip_id sequence is inaccurate for SL. :( 38-063 is doing the 19:53 departure. It was previously on the 177 with trip_id 197158293.

As further evidence that the order seems semi-random for SL trips, check out this sequence of trip_id's from further down:

The 90 didn't operate from 8:00-13:00 today. I was curious to see if the same buses remained on the same runs after the service returned.

Before 8:00, the 90 had the following buses:

  • 32-024 on run 90-01 (normally returns to garage before 13:00)
  • 25-205 on run 90-05 (same bus returned to service after 13:00)
  • 26-046 on run 104-11 (same bus returned to service on the 104 around 12:00)

So the answer is yes.

The buses would of remained the same as the driver is required to do his shift anyways. Either the driver goes back to the garage with the bus or stays at a pre-determined spot to cover in case of emergencies.

Passed by Prevost service center in Saint-Nicolas saturday night and many STM artics are on location, seems waiting for repairs.

Units spotted on location were 30-823,31-823, 29-828,29-826,31-857 and 30-872

I wonder what repairs these buses need for them to be sent all the way over there. 29-828 hasn't been active for a very long time.

This morning I found out that two AM 419 runs do school specials after the 419. The 7:05 419-W from Fairview deadheads to Côte-Vertu Metro afterwards to do the 121E-W and the 7:19 419-W (that I often took) deadheads to Fairview to do the 200E-W.

AN 30-115 was signed as spécial on A-40 WB near St-Jean this morning.

38-070 was on the 70!

LS 26-014 was parked outside CT SL.

LE 30-809 was on the 470.

I saw two STM artics parked at a lot near the intersection of Henri-Bourassa / Halpern. I didn't have time to check which units they were.

LE 24-209 with blue interior lighting was on the 211 this afternoon.

FR 38-012 was on the 51.

30-092 was also on the 51. It has gigantic front exterior fleet #s.

SN 39-021 was on the 24. 39-022 and 024 were tracking on FR routes yesterday, so maybe 39-020 to 025 got sent there.

MR 25-247 was on the 66.

38-057 has finally returned to service after an 11 month absence! It's tracking on the 164 now.

P.S. I am in the process of redesigning of my STM bus sightings sheet. Any feedback is welcome (link in signature below).

It looks good! The only thing I dislike is that it's harder to read the notes now since I have to scroll over and read the corresponding number. Possible solutions could be to have a hyperlink to the cell containing the note, or to just have one column like before so there's room to have the note adjacent to the vehicle in question.

Thursday:

  • I took 24-236 on the 90-W at 16:32. The iBus wasn't working, so it wasn't tracking.

Yesterday:

  • AN 30-208 was on the 144.

Today:

  • I took 24-261 on the 90-E at 10:30. The iBus wasn't working on this one either.
  • 24-249 was on the 102. I've seen this bus fairly frequently over the past few months, even taken it, but the iBus hasn't been working so @West Island Transit Fan's spreadsheet lists it as being last active in February.
  • I took 24-294 on the 90-W at 17:09. This is the bus I've ridden the most (12 times since I started counting).

On Saturday, my 141 ride was 26-080. This bus was sitting at St. Laurent for a long time but recently came back to service. It no longer has the Frontenac bumper.

Today, 30-168 was on the 203 with a rear tinted window and no rear number.

24-300 is parked outside Stinson.

iBus: Mont Royal's 25-247 on the 12 and their 25-243 on the 195

I saw it on the 202 at Fairview today. It's noticeably shinier than the other 38-XXX. I guess because it's basically still brand new (only saw a week of service in July).

Speaking of buses recently returned to service, 24-266 arrived at Atwater to do the 90-W around 17:00 (scheduled as the 17:30 departure, so a very generous layover). It's been gone since early January. It had no ads and the back flap was open.

26-030 and 27-015 were on the 105-W at Vendome around 17:20.

@West Island Transit Fan The new layout looks pretty good, I prefer it over the older one. However, I think some color choices can be changed, for instance the color for Stinson is really hard to read, at least for me.

I went to take 28-131 on the 17 today instead of the metro, it's a nice ride and it's my first 2nd gen ride in a month.

@Gerbil @Frozen Yogurt Thanks for the feedback! For me I can see through Stinson's colors perfectly, but I understand your perspective. I'll change it to a lighter purple. I'll also change Anjou to a lighter red.

I'll probably put a hyperlink for every note to their corresponding cells. I won't put the full notes beside each vehicle since that will take up a lot of space.

Glad to hear you guys like the layout though!

Yesterday:

I had a comfortable ride on 29-039 on the 211-E at 22:40. The single seat directly behind the driver was upholstered in the blue vinyl material. I sat there even though I normally don't like sitting there.

Today:

MR 25-243 was on the 71 and their 26-067 was on the 195.

I took LE 24-276 on the 405-W at 11:50. It was an accessibility violation.

I then transferred to another LE bus: 24-274 on the 419-E at 13:05. The Des Pins overpass at A40 is under construction, so the 419 cannot pass through there anymore. It would be funny if they don't finish by the summer board period since the current detour doesn't allow the 419 to stop at the Ecomuseum, which is the whole point of it running on weekends in the summer.

LE 31-850 was on the 470.

@West Island Transit Fan I like your new spreadsheet layout; the design is nice and compact!

The only comment I have is that the route specifiers can get a bit cramped. For instance, I looked at the 2005 spreadsheet and the route column displays 90EMR for 25-233. Perhaps you can add a space or dash to make the route easier to read (ex: 90E-MR, 90E MR, 90-E MR).

Overall, awesome spreadsheet!

Anjou's 28-093 was on the 164 W.
