It shows on some routes. If one thing, the ridership is coming back a lot lately, so that's a good thing I guess. Let's hope the service level at least comes back now that the government promised to inject more money into public transit. 11 hours ago, M106 said: New Flyers are out of the road indefinitly. I don't know what is the problem but I think it is relate to the maintenance. Did we just talk about maintenance at Stinson a while ago === Life is full of ISL9s like always. Got 30-881 yesterday, and 30-873 today on the 121. Also somehow ended up on 31-108 on the 121I this evening.................. It's a shame how much this trip has degraded in the choice of vehicles: it used to be a rear ramp SL run that would sometimes get 28 series, but I couldn't take it... when I came back to taking the bus regularly, it became a front ramp SL run, with mostly 30 series and a few 38/40 series, and now it's a LE run that seems to be almost exclusively getting 31 series, with a couple of 41 series if one's lucky. In fact, during the last board period it got 31 series on 17 consecutive days, "ruined" by a 30-2xx in the streak... (the run hasn't changed for March, same interline, only with the first trip shifted by 1 min).
Frozen Yogurt
Spotted 31-057 broken down on Côte-Vertu (WB, just past Champigny). lol Got 31-850 on the 121 this morning. Had to rush again in the PM for 30-814 so that I don't need to deal with 171-40 - then I noticed it's actually cancelled, so finally one of the very rare good move of my part. Only later did I realize that 31-057 is actually 171-40... lol

Today: 39-008 was on the 160, and spotted 29-804 on the 121. 171 is dominated by ISL9s as usual (saw 31-056, 31-058, 31-060 and 32-029).

Frozen Yogurt
Got 32-808 on the 121 tonight, not tracking. Not impressed... got this exact one multiple times recently already. Runs rather badly, quite shaky and very choppy sound from the engine. Spotted 30-014 on the 171 later, also not tracking.
MontrealBusFan
Yesterday 29-080 was doing the 161 LS extra. Felt strange to see a T-drive 29 on the 161, Today i saw 31-862 on the 165, 29-100 on the 138, NJT 1613 at MCI still, and 40-241 on the
Frozen Yogurt
Huge Hydro-Québec construction/repair work blocked off 2 out of 3 EB lanes at Côte-Vertu / Lebeau, so the 121 and 171 were both wildly bunched up and delayed today. Luckily, when I went out this morning, two buses came one behind another. 31-054 was too full to get on so I took 31-081, which was running about 50 min behind. Afternoon seemed to be even bigger of a headache, as eastbound has always been slow in the afternoon (unfortunately, the reserved lane goes WB that isn't as congested as EB), and today the whole sector seems to have been paralyzed. Again, all the 121 and 171s were heavily bunched up and delayed. I spotted 29-807 deadheading.

M106
Sometimes, I wonder why a CT like Mont-Royal can have all kind of *foreign buses* for theirs operations and other CT like Stinson, are always stucked with their own crap. It is so boring

It is so boring Just going by the wiki, MR consists of 150 buses and only 12 routes. Stinson is at 313 and 26 routes. with MR having so few buses it makes sense the “oddballs or foreign” buses are also all with the same Transmission for consistency with parts, ZF 6HP554C. MR has also typically been a garage where older buses go to die ( remember the old days of the Classics and 16-000s on the 51? ) Stinson on the other hand is far busier and larger facility which means more parts and more trained mechanics can be at one location, thus not making it a big deal for a more random fleet.

It is so boring I can totally feel you... it seems like the only thing Stinson is willing to put in service, when they do get an actual rare loaner (or change-off), are the 30-1xx/2xx and 32-0xx from Anjou (meh)... the rest just go back to their original owner as soon as possible. I don't think I've seen anything foreign on the 171 (SN runs) in months already. In fact, it's not even easy to find the 29/30 series at SN. 31-081 I took yesterday is the oldest thing I've taken on a SN run in a little while. Apart from 30-012 I took a while ago, my previous ride on anything older than 31-081 at SN goes to January already. Spotted 27-532 on the 171E (LE run) this afternoon... wow!

Frozen Yogurt
Spotted 30-006 on the 128 and 30-017 on the 171 this afternoon. Very surprisingly for a SN 30-0xx, 30-006 is actually tracking again after almost a year! 30-017 is still not tracking, of course.
Frozen Yogurt
Spotted 29-802 En Transit midday. Seems like it has some recurrent issues with the brake or something; the bus fails to move when the driver gives the gas. It ended up stalling near the trestle at Montpellier station for at least half an hour, and I took a picture. Unfortunately, as much as these are my favorite buses to ride now that SN is so trash, their reliability is decreasing. This particular bus was out of service for a few months until around March, and now I saw it stalling twice already.
