The bus stopped at all the 189 Stops, opened the doors and then took off again. My guess this bus is the demo for the new doors, to make sure they are working properly. The bus has been testing in the Anjou area alot in the last couple of days, unless there is more than 1 of them. Interesting! The bus went to the farm and back, and normally no bus run there (except Camp de jour). The driver's uniform didn't look like the one of the STM, so maybe it's a test drive from Novabus? En Transit
29-134 broke down on McGill Av and was replaced by 31-063. It was probably doing the 35. 38-015 was on the 215 and I saw 31-196 on the 196.

En Transit
I saw the test bus twice today. I first saw it at Côté-Vertu and the highway 40 heading east around 5. I then saw it heading south on boul des Sources after midnight. Perhaps there are more than one of these buses. The destination sign said “Special”. West Island Transit Fan
22-349 and 405 were on the 419 today. Today might have been the first weekend day where you were guaranteed a 22 on that route this summer.

For RTL buses, you look at the first 3 digits and if you insert a 0 between the 1st and 2nd digits, you get the year. Therefore, 209XX is 2009, 210XX is 2010, 211XX is 2011, etc. - - - LE 24-202 was on the 211. 31-195 was on the 217.

Blue Hybrid Bus
I saw 31-187 on the 468. Work on expanding CT Saint-Laurent has already started! There is a new car parking lot for the STM employees situated between the traffic bounds at Thimens. The old parking lot inside the center is probably going to be repaved and used as bus space. The new parking lot is actually temporary. The old one will be converted with an underground parking for employees and a new extension of the building. Work should be completed by next year and will include space for 52 buses. A common misconception is that some of the 2-02XX series includes 2001 LFS because the 2-01XX Van Hools took up the entire series but this is not true. 2-0201 and highers has a VIN not older than January 2002. jge0364
38-100 was on the 419 today. I think it's rare to see a hybrid on the 419 despite it being a SL route. This was possibly my first time seeing a hybrid on that route despite going to fairview a lot.

All 419 runs in the summer and even during school are non accessible, non camera requiring runs so it makes the chances of getting old buses much higher. I did see the an occasional hybrid on the 419 this summer but it was mostly 28-XXX and older. - - - LE 30-201 and a bunch of their 24-26X and 24-27X were on the 211 or 425.
