Today's Sightings

Today:

- LaSalle 29-145 was on the 105 in the morning. This bus was not on one of the LaSalle extras.

- 37-053 was also on the 105 this morning. This bus has a new front bumper and a pre-2016 front number font which @Frozen Yogurt had previously mentioned, indicative it was involved in some sort of accident.

- 25-236 was on the 106 this afternoon.

- 25-208 and 26-026 were on the 113 this afternoon. Frontenac 27-021 was on that route in the evening with a small rear fleet number.

- Mont-Royal's 30-071 was on the 90 this evening while their wrapped 30-091 was on the 406 this evening.

@Gerbil Thanks! Have you ever considered making a document that said which routes and departures have extras from other garages? Or is the information way too tedious to get.

It's not the most straightforward thing in the world. It's fairly easy to check if something is an extra when someone has an idea of the departure time. Otherwise, I'd have to look them up one by one. Extras are so common that it would be a daunting task to do it for every route.

I took LE 24-269 on the 90 Saturday, LE 24-268 on the same route on Sunday, and 24-246 on a LE extra today.

  • Saint Denis' 29-035 and two of Stinson's articulated buses were on the 121 this morning.

Stinson does two 121 extras (run 121-06 and 121-11) that do 3 trips each so you probably saw both of them.

-

I was going to take 425-21 from Gare Pointe-Claire, the Stinson extra of the 425 but was disappointed to find out it was 30-012. I ended up taking the 411 (26-006) and 217 instead.

There was also a Toronto GO Transit train car being pulled by a freight train going under the Poultry Cottages / A20 overpass around 16:30.

Mont-Royal's 25-204 was on the 68 during PM rush.

24-301, 31-217 and 38-009 were on the 213. 38-009 was on run 203-54, a SL extra that interlined to the 64 at Côte-Vertu.

I took 37-052 on the 425 run 425-21, a SN extra.

Mont-Royal's 27-018 was on the 425 after 425-21.

30-238 was on the 411. It was most likely on run 411-05 which is a SL extra that does the 496 after.

29-155 was on the 747. It doesn't have the blue airplane chevrons on the exterior.

37-104 was on the 460 run 460-48, one of the many SN extras on that route.

I spotted a 22-XXX to 24-XXX on the 77 at Vendome around 21:00. I got home too late to check which specific bus it was (route ends service after 21:15). Kind of a bad move, since very few of those buses seem to have working wheelchair ramps, and that's the main point of the route.

Thursday

- 28-069 was on the the 63 in the morning. I later took it on the 104. I have been seeing that bus around Angrignon for a few weeks now so I am assuming it's now at LaSalle.

Yesterday

- I took 79-552 coupled with element 93 and another one which I don't remember. It had the old MR-63 style terminus announcements: "Merci...d'avoir voyagé...avec...la...STM".

- I caught Mont-Royal's 26-054 on the 113 in the evening.
