03/09/06:

  • 12-086 doing the 139 NB at 14h45

Matt, what did you see it?

I saw it near 19h45.

04/09/06:

  • 26-045 at H.-Beagrand signed as 141 at 10h10
  • 26-047 doing the 189 EB at 11h
  • 26-048 doing the 189 WB at 11h02

Got a pic of 048.

I got 26-048 on the 192 tonight. When I got on, I noticed something strange: it had the old wheelchair space bench we all know from the other 26s! I don't understand this as 26-042 had the newer one and this one has the old one. Also, the stop bell seems to have changed...

26-054 was also doing the 192 this morning. Newest 26-xxx spotted here...

22-350 was doing the 139 again, now with the destination sign fixed.

16-059 had a strange sound when it was idling.

18-084 was doing the 161.

15-137 was doing the 161.

15-078 was doing the 161.

17-123 was doing the 94. This bus used to have the WestJet wrap like 2 years ago and they never removed the door parts. Well they did, but just one door. The other door still has the white part! :D

Sept 5th

Today, around Pointe-aux-Trembles, I've seen on routes 86, 182, 184, 186, 187 and 189:

- 26-052

- 26-054

- 26-056

- 26-057

- 26-058

- 26-059

And, by the way, I was around St-Eustache in the morning, I went to check at Novabus if I could see any STM buses in the yard and... nothing.

Training with the new farebox perhaps?

No, St. Laurent is doing it now or should be.

24-247 was doing the 215 this midday (got on) and other LaSalle buses were in SL territory today notably 25-238 and IIRC 22-403. Meanwhile I saw 24-248 on the 24 (as usual) and Armand drove the last outbound 470 this PM rush.

SL's?? 21-246 which has been at LS for quite awhile now was doing the 112 WB this eve. While it was on Airlie/90th its rear doors jammed and the driver had to get up and fix it. My driver on 22-xxx on the 506 was laughing lol.

Oh yeah, I saw it doing the 57 last Wednesday.

Today:

Got on 17-030 doing the 15, minutes ago. It had the other seating pattern.

Plaindome 17-171 was doing the 104

Anjou's 25-201 was doing the 66 in the morning and doing the 90, 15 minutes ago.

15-045 is in need of a front rebuild.

Concordia shuttle 35ft NFI D40 HF #109 was in service coming from the Loyola Campus corner Cavendish and St Jacques at 7:18pm! I have to find a way to get pics of this bus! Its rare to see it.

If it's a 35 foot bus, it should be a D35HF.

15-002 was doing the 139.

16-032 was doing the 143 this morning.

12-095 going by Sauve Metro as Hors-Service.

12-090 was doing the same thing as 12-095. :(

15-006 was doing the 535.

18-080 was doing the 535 this morning.

18-083 was also doing the 535, with new LED lighting.

Yup Anjou's 25-204 was on the 106, saw it too

Also, Anjou's 25-205 was on the 106

ISC 18-079 was on the 106 (got on it)

another 18 was on the 106 tht wasnt from Lasalle and had a GFI (got on it)

Anjou's 24-282 is on the 106 now

Anjou's 24-217 is/was on the 106 awhile ago as well.

So on my outting today in Lasalle to run some arens i actually didn't get one LS bus!! ;)

Anjou's 25-204 was doing the 106 today, got on it.

St. Denis' 13-073 was at Angrignon at 4pm

Got on MR-63 Juemont element 041, only heard the notes at Angrignon and LaSalle between Ang. and Guy. All the other times there was no sound.

Wow, just incredible how many buses are not from LS in LS lol.

The reason u only heard element 041 making the notes at ANG and Lasalle is because the train didnt use any power from tht motor anywhere else between Guy and ANG. The train doesnt always use power from all the motors unless its necessary based on the power needed to leave the station which is based on the load of the train and the tunnel's track profile.

There are brand new directional panels in Lionel-Groulx Station, both levels. New and shiny. Go find 'em!

New train switching procedure for metro operators at Cote-Vertu Station. There is a new local on the arriving platform at the southern end of the station, facing the CO office. Once the train discharges passengers, the next metro driver (having taken a short break) immediately enters the tail end car. Then the metro is driven straight to the switch instead of wasting precious time stopping at the northern end of the station to pick up the driver. This is a more efficient way to turn back trains and may even help out the terrible frequencies of our metro system during midday. I only used to see this setup on the Blue line (not sure anymore as this was the past I'm referring to and from what I've seen, one sole operator walks the 50m distance in the tunnel to turn back the train, but this was in the summer).

New bus stop flag at Square Victoria Station next to 61/168 Westbound flag on Viger Street: Navette Football Alouettes. Never seen this one before.

As for bus sightings:

Between Thursday and Friday night 24-240 was providing service on NB 363 at 1:22 am at the filthy corner of St-Laurent and Ste-Cath. A few minutes later, I saw 17-013 laying over on St-Urbain south of Rene-Levesque for the 363.

Yesterday at morning rush, 22-270 was doing the 70 (smartassness) around 9 am when I was reverse commuting, and then it interlined into a 225.

Yep, saw 'em, the text is not centerized and is smaller now.

The bus stop flag has always been there, I saw it last month.
