Shaun
All of these delays with the LRT are part of the teething process for any new system. But during the testing period did they not simulate these types of situations? And keeping customers in the loop about delays should be a no brainier, but even the TTC has issues with that. I can never understand why letting people know about delays is so difficult.

Loud-Invero
Be careful out there guys. Lots of delays because of the snow. My driver on Route 85 decided to drive into the snowbank, causing the trailer to become stuck so I had to take the 57 instead.

Are you saying the driver made a deliberate decision to drive into a snowbank? Thats quite an accusation considering there are many drivers on the board. MCIBUS
I agree. Perhaps it appeared to you(where you where sitting/standing)that it appeared he drove into the snow bank where as the driver's bus might slide into the snow bank that the driver could not control? Loud-Invero
I'm not saying he did it deliberately per say, but he definitely failed to exercise the basic common sense that I've seen every other OC driver do after snow storms, which is don't pull over all the way to the side where there are snowbank and no, he didn't lose control otherwise I would have felt it as I was sitting at the very back. You are still making unfounded accusations against the driver in saying he lacked basic common sense. All this is only your opinion and you are passing it off as fact.
Loud-Invero
Man, the arctic's should be grounded. All of mine got stuck, some even Jack knifed! Oh yes, plan accordingly. Also code 50 was issued for Lincoln Fields Mall, All Buses particularly Route 11 will bypass the mall completely. Oh be wary about video recording. Some tow truck drivers really have an issue and some will pretend to be transit law for 10 seconds or get easily agitated (though can you really blame them since they're literally stuck in an area towing arctic's out all morning?) OCCheetos
There's also a median running all the way down Bank Street in that area (not that it would give a bus any problems, but traffic-wise).

OC Transpo Route 95
RIDEAU STREET CLOSURE STARTING SUNDAY, APRIL 19TH As the detour description was too long to copy out here, all of the full and detailed detour information and maps are available here, along with full routing descriptions for each of the detoured routes: https://www.octranspo.com/en/alerts/#alerts-28971 Interestingly, the routing descriptions provided include the routing outside of downtown for many of the routes. Probably due to how busy OC Transpo is with the current situation, it was simpler to copy and paste the full revised routing descriptions onto the site than have someone re-type just the downtown specific routing for each route.
