So? in a fleet of 262 trollies, there are bound to be a few not working so well.

That's why there's been a bunch of Novas on the trolley routes lately.

These trolley's must have some major mechanical issues as they have not been in service this year, followed by the last date in service ...2103 July 8, 2119 Apr 18, 2160 Sept 7, 2215 Dec 3, 2228 Aug 24, 2232 Nov 22, 2276 Nov 7, 2279 Nov 6, 2503, June 11, 2542 Nov 6, 2566 Nov 9

Wonder whether some are waiting for special components -say from Kiepe HQ in Germany?

Or maybe it's just cost-cutting, given that the trolleybus requirement will be a lot less once the 9 is diesellised for Broadway subway works.

the trolleys from the 9 would be repurposed for the 41, there would be no reason to reduce active fleet.

The 41 won't need even ten trolleys; the 9 uses far more -at least 20 IIRC. So even after the 41 changes to trolley there will be at least ten unused. These could of course be used to increase frequencies on other routes as demand grows.

Slow order on the old test track (Main Street) has been lifted sometime in the last 2 weeks. Was 70kph before I went on vacation on Jan.25, returned to the 80kph when I rode the train this afternoon

On the 22 this morning, I was aboard 9529, which was trailing (H)9528. How common is it for two consecutive buses to have sequential numbering like this?

It’s just the odds of it happening, really. I was on 1206 today, right behind 1208.

I would say it is fairly common. I've seen this occurrence a number of times. I call it 'sister ships'. Here's 2242 & 2243 together.

It happens all the time

Apparently 2134 was on the 41 today, probably doing training.

Is that the first revenue trolley on the route?

Not just fun to see for buses, but also a nice spotting for skytrains when sequences get put together. I've definitely seen numerous 200s and 300s where all 4 cars were sequential. Not sure I've seen it on MK 1s before, but I would imagine it can happen. The other day I was on a train consisting of 013-018, though sadly not in order

Aside from the 41st and Oak trips, I've seen them do in service training extra trips on the 41 rarely over the last few years. Not on tcomm of course, not sure if this would count for revenue service. I've got a photo of one that turned the wrong way into dunbar loop... (going left from westbound 41st avenue)

It’s pretty common but it’s just a matter of pure luck. I was on 19007 and when I get off I notice that 19008 is right behind it.
