8010
2 Novas on the R4 are booked out for 14 and 19 hours (blocks 4 & 11), yet there are XDE60s that are only booked out for a few hours during peak. I don't even care about the branding at this point, I just don't understand how these bookouts work.

We had B-Line branded buses on non B-Line routes for years and no one cared. With that being set aside, I'm just as confused as you are about these bookouts. dover5949
Spotted 19401 displaying "Training Vehicle" this afternoon at 5 Road & Steveston Hwy. Not sure if this is a RTC operator getting training or a new CMBC operator?

Or maybe it's just cost-cutting, given that the trolleybus requirement will be a lot less once the 9 is diesellised for Broadway subway works. Stormscape
the trolleys from the 9 would be repurposed for the 41, there would be no reason to reduce active fleet.

The 41 won't need even ten trolleys; the 9 uses far more -at least 20 IIRC. So even after the 41 changes to trolley there will be at least ten unused. These could of course be used to increase frequencies on other routes as demand grows.
