Ninja Bus Fan
^ Alright thanks And also when I was riding 8007 this afternoon I've noticed that behind the seat at the rear door there is this black box. Also another black box on the opposite site of the one on the seat and I'm wondering what this thing is. You can kinda see it in this video I recorded of 8007 this afternoon on my IPhone 5. Sorry that the video quality isn't that great but that's the best you can get from a iPhone and its also my very first video so yea, bare with me

On newer vehicles, it's hidden above the door and does not protrude out the way these 'black boxes' do; I also noticed that they (the 'black boxes') come and go as they like to put them on different vehicles. captaintrolley
Ohhh, so those are passenger counters, thanks. I knew that, since I've seen them on ETS buses too..
mashedpotato13
I saw 99's detouring down Wesbrook Mall instead of turning at University Blvd... Couldn't find any mention of it in the transit alerts.
CharlieOscar98
R9239 on the 430 as a PM tripper.
StormThief24
Yes, I was on that bus.
Michael Marriott
There was an alert for a tree on the trolley wires on University Blvd today at the start of the PM rush hour, 4's, 9's and 14's were ending at Blanca loop, with a shuttle running via Blanca, 16 Ave and Wesbrook Mall. captaintrolley
Apparently there are trolley wire issues in South Vancouver (maybe due to the wet heavy snow?) So far Transit Alerts mention the route 3, 8, and 16. Alerts still coming in as I type this.
BC Ferries
7199 is back on the road on a Poco run. Wonder is this bus will last longer in Poco than 7316 did... Would love to take it on the 160.
Express691
So far the 2 most recent 430 from Brighouse leaving at 3:43pm on weekdays bus have had buses from what I call "Richmond-2" (The express buses). 8060 and 9239 both left Brighouse at the same time on the same type of day. Maybe I should keep an eye out for today's 3:43 bus.

Express691
Wow this is hilarious, so the 3:43 will probably be our jackpot for a week or so.
CharlieOscar98
Yeah. I don't think there is a need to post anymore OBI V sightings on the same 430 afternoon tripper anymore..
Express691
Yeah the 3:43 tripper will probably get oddball buses for the next bit. We probably shouldnt post any more D40LF on morning rush express routes. There was a time where we had 7200's running 602s and 352's.
StormThief24
My theory is that RTC currently has a bus shortage because of the mass retirement of D40LFs with nothing to cover for them - a typical shining example of TransLink's foresight. This run is one of the last ones to leave RTC for the PM peak, and likely they are scraping the bottom of the barrel by this time.

Michael Marriott
On random Tcomm spottings, West Van bus 2706 (which apparently also did a trip on the 3). Not sure what (if any) bus corresponds to this in reality. http://tcomm.bustrai.../bus?busId=2706
Express691
I asked the creator and he said that it was probably a test device unit. The only 2706 that existed was a trolley. However, im for some reason being hinted that WVMT could be getting their Tcomm implemented with ours?
Brando737
WVMT will most likely be upgraded soon to match CMBC from what I have heard. Sent from my SM-T310 using Tapatalk
Express691
Yeah the 2 test units labeled 2701 and 2706 have been showing WVMT routes lately. The last time the unit #3101 was tested was on a 026 block.
Millennium2002
The NovaBus I was riding tonight was having gear step-down problems and wouldn't shift down into first gear properly (aka often stuck on second while braked / when braking).
