Earlier this week on Monday, I spotted another Classic out in the middle of the day. 9414 was heading towards the Rideau Centre at approx. 12:50. I couldn't catch the route or run number though.

Still only 1601 and 1610-1612 in service as far as 2016 buses. Nothing really much different for 1601 on the inside vs previous STO artics - maybe larger next stop screens , but I was on a 33 not a Rapibus route so no info was shown and they have same hybrid engines as 1501-1507 and seating numbers seems to be virtually identical that most artics as well.

1613 was in service on July 29. I got a shot of it approaching Terrasses de la Chaudière.

Normally it should like all other articulated buses, although with the higher number of articulated buses available, we can see them on many of the other routes on random trips.

I was on Rideau St. late Friday night and saw a bunch of artics on the 31, 35, and 59.  And a new 40ft hybrid doing a Rapibus 400 from Gatineau.

I saw an articulated hybrid bus at the STO garage on the way home from the cottage. I couldn't see the number though.

I think it should still be 1601; I haven't heard of any signs of artic hybrids 1602 and up, though I have seen a few STO-specified artic hybrids at St-Eustache a few months ago (sliding windows, no front roof).

Do you know when they will be in service? And we might be getting 9 instead of 7, since the 40ft start with 1610 and up. and I think that's what it said in the STO budget 2016.

Have no idea. Possibly starting late this year. I'm really not sure how many specifically for this year, though on the wiki page I've put in 1601-1607 for the artics and 1608-1614 for the 40-ft, but that might change. But since 1601 waited for almost 8 months from its date of manufacture to entry into service, I would imagine that subsequent buses will also be significantly delayed.

0919 on 400 Ottawa 13:12 at Wellington and O'Connor

1605 on the TD Place Shuttle, on Bank Street, at 18:46

Is 1605 another articulated hybrid bus? If so looks like the rest of the articulated hybrid buses are coming! HOORAY!

Sure was! Didn't even have any adds on it or anything. It was all white too which seemed kinda odd

Great to see more Hybrid articulated busses on the roads. STO definitely needs the capacity, since their busses can get pretty crowded during rush hour.

Rode 1310, LFS Articulated Diesel, Today on Route 44 Rideau/Elgin 16:30.

The two 1600s I've seen in service thus far are artic 1605 and standard 1610. What's the delivery breakdown of 12 vs. 18 metre buses for STO for 2016?

Spotted 7901 out of service at 3 PM today heading into Ottawa

I saw 7901 as well today, running route 39 NB on St-Joseph Blvd. at Place Cartier this afternoon at 4:30.  It looks as if it has a new headsign, as the letters were bolder and much closer together than I've seen in the past.

I also spotted 1608 (artic) running route 37 on St-Joseph just after 4:00, and 1615 (40') preparing to start route 73 at de la Cite Station at 5:30.

Spotted 1608 on King Edward / Rideau, and 7901 just passing the Bouelvard Casino exit sur l'autoroute 5, à proximate de 2:45ish

Here's a photo I took of 7901 yesterday, showing the new headsign:

So they ditched the barely visible older Balios for the better newer one. Looks nicer at least.
