0205 77 Magnus

0702 67 Promenades

0703 37 Ottawa (WTF?)

It looks like they've fully removed the Radio Energie wrap on 0328 - it's been there for nearly 4 years and I think the programming has changed (the rear had the schedule of a show I think which may have changed).

Saw 0707 on the 59 and 0515 on the 39 (they've remove the rear wrap of the City of Gatineau on that one) turning right on Maisonneuve from Laurier instead of turning to the Portage Bridge due to the Gay and Lesbian Parade (see also OC thread). II guess they were detoured via the Alexandra or MacDonald Cartier Bridge instead.

0508 on the 21 was completely stuck in traffic on Queen at Kent.

BTW, I should have gotten pics of the Ligne Verte buses on the other routes. I brought my camera with me, but left the batteries in the charger.

The green line paint scheme buses are not strictly used on the 67 and 77 routes. They can be used on any routes by the STO. Also, buses can switch lines and be needed elsewhere if there is a shortage.

Whenever I ride the 67-77, I'm most likely to get a Ligne Verte bus (unless it's peak hours). The 67 used to become the 96 (at the right hour) before the whole Green thing came up, now it becomes another 67, so I think that's all they do, now. (With some exceptions).

But, you just reminded me that it was a Saturday, so schedules are likely different.

BTW, am I the only one that finds it ironic when an older bus doing the 67-77 is spewing black smoke everywhere, and it's flashing 'Ligne Verte' on the destination sign? ^_^

Today's lesson: Crushloads are no fun on suburban buses ^_^

Rode:

9505 on 96>Promenades

9015 on 74>Masson (Everything rattles, creaks, cracks, or moans)

9603 on 98>Buckingham

Saw:

0602 (Hippodrome bus) on 96>Buckingham

9508 on 98>Buckingham (right behind the crushload I got off of). I'm glad I'm not one of the poor bastards who rode it from Ottawa.

The 2007-08 schedule (User Guide) is now online and after scrolling up the content, there are no route changes (Route 90 says it's modified but the extra extension shown on the map is just to reflect that the route does visually proove it serves the section of Davidson (they were already serving it as it was said that the trips starts X minutes at the terminus shown on the map.

No real schedule changes, although an extra trip or two was added on the 25 as well as on the 89. However, some 67 trips will not served the Promenades and will end at Greber at La Savane (what's that all about?).

Of course there are the seasonal adjustments (27, 31, 33, 37, 38, 49) but I don't count them as additionnal or added service

Well, 49 is the one I kind of need :( (No changes, though)

Anyway, I've gotta babysit tomorrow. I'll hop to the Promenades and stay there for a bit. I'll bring my camera (with batteries this time) and try to snap a few shots. Hopefully, third time will be the charm.

Edit: HOLY CRAP! IT'S BILINGUAL! ^_^

BTW, I only just noticed the Engrish on the STO signs in Ottawa.

'Disembarkation Only'. Shouldn't it be 'Disembarkment only'?

However, some 67 trips will not served the Promenades and will end at Greber at La Savane (what's that all about?).

That'll be a pain in the ass...

Oh well, only time I'll have to use it is during exams (or anything else that requires having to leave school early).

I've rechecked once more the schedule and noticed that there are overall more 67 trips (especially in the AM rush) and enough that there is one more trip departing les Promenades which those starting on Greber are extra trips. However, there are fewer trip ended at les Promenades in the afternoon.

There are also those changes:

Two additional trips on the 59 in the morning rush hour towards Ottawa as well as two additional AM and one additional PM runs on the 25, one additional PM run on the 26, one additional AM run on the 89, one additional PM run on the 37 from the CEGEP to les Terrasses, one additionnal AM run on the 31 between Ottawa and Place d'Acceuil, one additionnal PM run on the 96 towards les Promenades, one additional weekday AM run on the 51, one additional Saturday morning AM run on the 53, one am run on the 49 from Le Plateau to Rivermead, all extra PM runs on the 57 starting downtown have been removed and one fewer AM run on both the 80 and 88. The other ones are regular seasonnal runs.

Rode 0323 today. Man, that thing makes all sorts of weird noises once it hits the last gear (I don't mean the regular ones, either). The driver would let go of the gas and it'd make this loud, high-pitched noise that I've never heard other LFSs make.

Got some pics. I also saw 0328 minus the wrap, but I had just put the camera away and was on my bus back.

Spotted both 7742(around 16:15), and 7757(around 18:00) yesterday(AUG. 27/07)OC 4439
i saw the energie bus today parked across from the galerys de hull with the driver side of the ad still intact

They must've put it on a different bus. I saw 0328 today at the Promenades with no wrap.

Did you get the fleet number?

Rode 0612 today, but got a crappy picture of the rear ad. May consider adding it, anyway.

Also rode 9013 on the 74. Much better than 9015  and got 9603 on the 98 again.

Saw 0711 on the 96 towards Buckingham

Saw 0011 on the 94 towards Masson driving around with the front doors open (stuck?)

Saw the Energie bus, It may not have had the ad on the other side, but I couldn't tell. It must be on a different bus, because I compared the pics on stm_5307N's site and (I think) it wasn't missing any sections, and I believe when I saw 0328 at the Promenades the other day, the rear part of the ad was also gone. So, I think it's on a different bus. What makes it a pain in the ass, is that I didn't see any fleet numbers on the rear or drivers' side. Didn't see the other side.

Also saw 7901 on Labrosse today.

STO Nova 0005 used during the strongman competition of this weekend's Gatineau Balloon Festival. This bus was being pulled by competitors. Weight 17 tons. Missing Side + Front Destination signs for some reason.

0603 has a rear wrap. Excuse me if somebody already posted this as I hardly check this thread.

Is it the same one as the one on my site? (0612)

Probably to reduce weight. Other things were likely missing as well.

"Let's take ~20 pounds off a 15 ton bus"

Then again, I don't know how much those destination signs weigh, or what else was taken off of it.
