I have confirmation that 2207 is an Arboc. I suspect the same for 2208. Also the new fare payment system (TransitFare and Systems SmartCard) is being installed in vehicles but isn’t in use yet. Driver training is only starting in the next week or two. SDGBusFan Posted January 10, 2023 Report Share Posted January 10, 2023 Looks like Cornwall has reinstated the 71 - Express routes, with being out of service for almost three years now. Current routing seems to be the same as before, with the route running East towards SLC & the DEV Hotel, and then west towards Brookdale Plaza & Walmart. The timetable has changed from previous years, with the service starting at 12h30 going East, and the last trip at 16h30 going East. One unit will run in a continuous loop, as most routes with Cornwall. 5 total trips going Eastbound, and 4 trips going Westbound. As of yet, (2022-01-10, 13h14), there has been no formal announcement on their Facebook page, as with the City website. In fact, the website still states the route is cancelled. Today, unit 2105 was running the new service. I wonder if they're just doing a trial run to see if the demand is there. Side note - Is 2209 still out of action? I haven't seen it in service for quite some time...
