Toronto to St.Cath route

Recommended Posts

question/comment. would a toronto to st.cath route see more success then the doomed toronto to rochester route?

on the plus side, its far more direct, and it could be a shortcut to the falls. also you avoid the international border.

on the downside, st.cath is a smaller city then rochester, and there may be lesser demand.

The attraction in the Rochester ferry wasn't necessarily Rochester, but the possibility of a shortened travel times to places like New York. Toronto to St. Catherines is relatively useless since a fast ferry would cost a lot of money while a slow ferry wouldn't necessarily cut the travel time drastically in the off-peak hours.
