Alright, it's been a few months or probably a whole year this was asked. Things may hav changed, so here we go. Please state your occupation, how long have you been at this place and how the job is for you. Optional is exact location of work or store and pay rate.

Me: I work at a grocery store for about a year now as a bagger. The job sucks, the pay sucks cause the store is el-cheapo but it provides money and sometimes the people there can be fun.

I just started a new job 2 weeks ago. I work for Perimeter Transportation, in their Whistler Express division, as a booking agent. I'm still in training and obviously still learning just how things work in this job (heck, one of my coworkers has been there since January and she's still figuring things out), but I really enjoy it so far, it's quite honestly the best job I've ever had! Starting wage is $10.35/hr, and my coworkers are all a really great bunch. I never worked with people that were so chill that I could party with them on my off days. :P

Still at Agropur, but our warehouse moved to St-Hubert last Monday, on Armand-Frappier street close the Autoroute 30 and Grande-Allée street. I am a order fine cheese picker/packer. Wage $20,39/hr. $20,99/hr on July 1st. All in all, the job is okay, but if you want a good post, you have to use your seniority. I'm no. 57 in the pecking order out of 80. But in the next 5 years, I have counted at least 20 guys that will retire. I guess by then I will have a day time position and not work evenings.

I work once a week as a math instructor at Kumon, a mathematics tutorial centre. The job is OK.......gets really boring after a while. Typical $8 / hr. I thought this job would look good on my resume when i have to apply for other jobs in the future.

Good luck getting in because TTC makes you to wear formal clothing, not casual when it comes customer service calls.

Me: Currently a School Bus Driver for Elliott Coach Lines, Elmira Division (can you see where I'm going in the future ;) )

I'm in the same boat as you. You guys have such large fleets in Waterloo and Elmira county next to Laidlaw only to be except it has air brakes and motorcoach! Not to mentioned, LED tailights on school buses which is very few companies buys them due to vandelisims.

If I can't find my full time I've taken to school, I've no choice but to go for plan B.

So do you get people asking if they can carry their pet Komodo dragon the bus with them? ;)

All the time. I just tell them it has to be in a pet carrier/kennel.

He may be good, but he's not THAT good :P

I Think your grammar got messed up there a bit, so I don't know exactly what you meant, but...all our new buses have Air Brakes, and we don't actually have any Coaches (I believe our Guelph Division had a couple once, but the mechanics hated dealing with them so we got rid of them).

Our company aparently likes to buy IC buses for new buses. We tried out some of the new Thomas Safe-T-Liner C2's, the owners bought one bus for each division to see if they liked them, and what crap are they (we cancelled an order for more and bought more IC's instead). I drive an IC bus myself that just turned a year old last week (I'm spoiled :P ), compared to any other school bus an IC is a luxury liner, air ride suspension and seat, air powered door and extremely tight turning capability (so watch the tailswing ;) ).

If you see Elliott Bus 856 on the road anywhere, it's probably me!

Superstore photo lab supervisor, as well as a keyholder. Likely moving into photo electonics as an electronics supervisor in training soon after returning from holidays, and then if everything goes according to plan, I'll have my own electronics department in September.

I work at Loblaws as a Natural Value Clerk 10 dollars an hour for 20-24 hours a week. I also work at No frills in the produce department a few shifts a week for a little extra spending money.
