D40LF
What about Truno Nova Scotia ? When I was in Truro I didn't see any transit buses, but of course that doesn't mean they don't run, just that I didn't see any.
hfx_chris
Truro does not have transit. Kings County does, they've got some D40LFs and Orion 1s. I think that's about it though.. I can't think of any others St. John's NL has a nice fleet, mostly New Looks and Classics, with a small handful of LFS' and Orion V's thrown in for good measure. I loved taking transit when I was in St. John's.

Not sure about Miramichi or Bathurst, but their websites don't have anything about public transit on them. New Glasgow definitely doesn't. Mount Pearl NL is covered by St. John's Metrobus. hfx_chris
Should have at least given Halifax a chance!
2822
Should have at least given Halifax a chance! Yes Halifax has a good Transit system and they have ferries that can be used with a bus transfer or transit fare.
LF60
do you guys think it'd be very hard to patch togethor a fleet roster, incl fleet numbers, for every bus in atlantic canada?
hfx_chris
Does this board even have any representatives from places like Sydney, Frederickton or Moncton? I can give you all of the information you need on Halifax. The details I have on St. John's Metrobus is... shaky at best.

D40LF
Apparently Truro used to have a transit system until a few years ago, although I don't have any details. I do know that Corner Brook is composed entirely of Cutaways, didn't get to photo one as the car broke down
a.dicion
Apparently Truro used to have a transit system until a few years ago, although I don't have any details. So did Bathurst, NB for a bit, IIRC they ran a couple of ex-CT Transit Classics leased from Dupont Trolley, after service was discontinued Dupont Trolley sold the buses to Charlottetown where they remain in service with Trius Tours. GMC chassis...Workhorse chassis etc. And, It's a bus. Plain and simple. Edited By K.Lo
