That's correct so far! And it's the only 35 foot New Flyer in Ontario too.

it's the only XD35 in Canada and Ontario, yes,

but not the ONLY 35ft New Flyer ever in Ontario, Deseronto Transit got 1 used NFI D35 from Capital in Levis, QC before, which of course it has been retired for decades

wow, in those photos of 102 you can see Welland also has LTC 416, must be a parts bus

i don't think 416 is a part bus, don't think Welland is going to purchase it for parts only, i think they are going to refurbish it and put it back to service but this has yet to be confirmed

it makes sense for them to purchase the 6th Invero for the fleet, which is replacing all 6 Blue Birds at 1:1 ratio, currently there are still 2 Blue Birds active in service which are 1137 and 38, both were seen in service as of last Friday

Well they bought Guelph 142 strictly for parts to keep the orions going. It makes logical sense as Inveros are hard to get parts for.

Confirmed - 416 is a parts bus, there were talks of putting it into service but those plans were quickly scrapped as they were in need of parts

cool, thx for confirming

btw #102 was on city auction site, starting bid at $800, if anyone is interested in getting this 30ft bus for mobile home conversion

Thread bump: Welland has added a second NovaBus to the fleet; unit 1162.

The two remaining Blue Birds were out today; 1137 doing the 6 and 1138 on the 3.

Invero unit 1156 was doing the Port Colborne Link, while sister unit 1157 was doing the 60/65.

I had been informed from a friend that Welland has taken delivery of another NovaBus this past Saturday (was seen on the QEW through Grimsby). Very likely that may have replaced 1137.

I had felt that the Inveros would last for another 2 years or so after being acquired.
However, I am not at all surprised that the Arbocs would be replaced next year given that they're only built to last about that amount of time.
