Root Admin ORION Posted April 26, 2007 Root Admin Report Share Posted April 26, 2007 I was at OTE this past Tuesday, and was told by Blue Bird, that their sales reps in Ontario, Pearson, has completed the sale of six units from Coach Canada's Toronto airport operation, made redundant by the new airport monorail, to Welland Transit, with one on display at the show and the other five already in Welland. I was told that Welland Transit plans to have them repainted, and in service within about a month. They will likely be replacing assorted cutaways they have been using, as well as their remaining new looks.

general682002
*bump* Was at Welland today, they've received 2 Eldorado EZ-Rider Max 35ft. Fleet numbers are 1144 and 45 and was in service about 3 weeks now. Many drivers like it, of course better than that POS Blue Bird! I apologize for a couple of low light shots, it's because it has a full cloudy today.

Seashore_518203
found out today that Welland is getting a D40LF out of consordium According to a driver, this bus has been delivered and is at the garage. Nobody was at the garage when I was there today so I was not able to confirm it. In the attached shot, I wonder who was responsible for the electronic sign programming. It is hard to read, but Welland Transit is "goinig" your way !!
