Big chungus Posted February 18 Report Posted February 18 I’ve just seen a video of a STM bus on fire, the bus in question was LS 30-030. It happened this morning at around 8:50 AM on the 113 Lapierre route. Assuming it’ll most likely be retired as it suffered extensive fire damage. 18/2/2025 1 2

Georges Posted February 25 Report Posted February 25 8 hours ago, KaiMode said: I have in fact got a good question what is replacing these units? The STM has, as of now, a surplus of buses, this is the reason why a good amount of buses, (over 130 buses), got retired during 2024's year, and a similar amount will also be retired during 2025's year, (we don't have the exact number). The STM has over 1800 buses in its fleet as of now, (they used to have around 2000 buses), and they don't use more than 1500 buses each day. This is why they can retire that many buses in a relatively short period of time. Although, 44-XXX have started to arrive and soon 45-XXX will too. They are progessively retiring pretty much all 2nd gen buses and slowly getting newer buses...
