M/V Dali Accident in Baltimore

Recommended Posts

Based on news reports, 8 construction workers on the bridge wound up falling into the river upon collapse. 2 were rescued while the other 6 perished (2 are confirmed, the other 4 are presumed deceased). I believe 3 of the 6 individuals have identified.

The sixth man’s name has not been released, presumably as the authorities are still trying to locate their next of kin.

How awesome of you to plagiarize my post.

Don't plagarize BusMedic, please. Half of the stuff you post makes no sense. I'm sorry to say, but please have proper grammar. You make me get confused.

The Balitimore channel has reopened yesterday for commercial ships passing through the Key Bridge wreckage.

The Balsa 94, a bulk carrier sailing under a Panama flag, passed through the new 35-foot (12-meter) channel headed for Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada.

The Balsa 94 is expected to arrive in Canada on Monday.

Two more commercial ships followed later Thursday, including a vehicle carrier headed to Panama.

Found this on YT

MV Dali was refloated and towed away from the accident scene this morning by tugboat wrecker. Almost nearly 2 months in an accident on their way to Sri Lanka.

https://www.freightwaves.com/news/ship-that-caused-baltimore-bridge-collapse-moved-back-to-port

The Dali will spend several weeks getting temporary repairs at the terminal and then will be moved to a shipyard for more substantial repairs, authorities said.

Twenty-one crew members remain on board the Dali, a nearly 1,000-foot-long NeoPanamax cargo ship weighing 120,000 tons. The ship has a container capacity of 9,971 twenty-foot equivalent units.
