Hi, I decided that it would be a cool idea to create this thread for 27-5XX/28XXX/29XXX STM models, which would reduce some posts from Today's Sightings's thread. I hope the community will accept this topic thread. Thanks. Have fun to post some bus that you see !

I will go first ! All today's sightings :

28-008 on 171E at 7h25 on Jeanne-Mance/Henri-Bourassa

28-075 on 164W at 17h15 on Saint-Laurent/Henri-Bourassa

28-097 also on 164W at 17h00 on Henri-Bourassa/Bois-de-boulogne

28-099 on 171W at 7h15 on Station Henri-Bourassa

Rode 27-522 on the 405 yesterday afternoon. Great ride. It has one Faraday bell and one digital bell.

Rode 28-009 on the 409 this morning. This is one of those early 28-xxxs with an additional security camera behind the driver seat.

Today :

28-009 : Took it on the 171-W (7h10)

28-034 and 28-037 : Parked at Station Henri-Bourassa (7h10)

28-060 : Arriving at Station Henri-Bourassa from the 48 (7h10)

28-124 : Was on the 171-E at Henri-Bourassa/Bois-de-Boulogne (7h20)

For those who are wondering how I see so many buses, (and on the same locations mostly), it's because i'm a student who goes to Cégep Bois-de-boulogne, so I take a bus to go to Metro Cartier, i take the metro and i take another bus from Station Henri-Bourassa, so my route gives me the opportunity to pass by two terminus, (cartier and Henri-Bourassa).

For those who are wondering how I see so many buses, (and on the same locations mostly), it's because i'm a student who goes to Cégep Bois-de-boulogne, and I live at Laval, so I take a bus to go to Metro Cartier, i take the metro and i take another bus from Station Henri-Bourassa, so my route gives me the opportunity to pass by two terminus, (cartier and Henri-Bourassa). Sometimes, instead of taking 2 bus + 1 metro to arrive at school, i take 2 bus, (24 Saint-Dorothée + 55 Metro Henri-Bourassa), but this way is usually longer...

Cool, I'm stuck further downstream with the 171 (my other option is artics on the 121). Maybe one day they'll get the REM running....

I barely missed 28-006 on the 171 this morning. Kinda pissed off because I only rarely get to enjoy 2nd gens, and the bus drove off on my face...

Also, I wonder if you've seen or taken the 171E specials for Bois-de-Boulogne. I think there are two westbound departures from Henri-Bourassa in the morning and two eastbound in the afternoon. Do these departure even get advertised to students?

What do you mean by 'special' ? I sometimes take the 171-W ÉCOLE that is for students of the cegep, because it doesn't stop at any stops, to land people. Also, this ECOLE version of the 171 has its 'terminus' at Robert-Charbonneau, so it doesn't continue longer than Henri-Bourassa/Bois-de-Boulogne. Also, sometimes, very often around 4-6pm, while the line of students waiting for the 171-E is crazy long, (when I say crazy long, it really is, once, we filled 3 complete buses), there is a bus that comes from the west EN TRANSIT and stop at Henri-Bourassa/Bois-de-Boulogne stop and 'becomes' the 171-E, so basically, it's a bus just for us, (and for all the remaining stops before Terminus Henri-Bourassa). But, 171 SPECIAL, I don't really know what that is...

Yeah, I was referring to the 171 École you just described.

Not tracking,28-059 on 48 at H.Bourassa around 14h30-15h00

Why do people say 'not tracking' when they post a sighting ? Is it to precise that they show it 'accidentally' without spotting it purposely?

Meaning the bus is not showing up on the transit tracker, therefor the ibus system of said bus is defective
