How do I put the SD card of my camera into my laptop so I can upload the photos?

If your computer has an SD card slot, you can insert it directly. If not (most newer computers don't unfortunately), you can use an SD card reader (SD to USB adapter). You can get them on amazon or ebay easily.

I am trying to transfer my videos / photos onto my Email, but I do not know where I can upload the pictures to a Computer?

May I ask for assistance?

It's a 15 GB SD card, so I just need some help, thanks!!

My computer has an SD slot, but my camera uses a XD card. I have an adapter ( 81-717 mentions using an adapter) that goes into the USB port. Works like a charm. The adapter has six slot for various 'cards'.

As posted above, if your computer has a dedicated SD Card slot, simply insert it in there and open the icon on your desktop.  If your computer does not have a SD Card slot, then you need to buy a SD Card slot device and connect it via a USB port on your computer.  Any store that sells electronics will have such adapters - Walmart, London Drugs, Best Buy, Amazon, etc.  Just make sure you get the correct USB adapter for your computer as most newer devices are now USB C.

Depending on the camera used. You could also (with the correct usb cable) connect your camera directly to your computer. (Most computers will recognize it as an external Hard Drive )

Thank you to all!

This has really helped, and I have a cord to transfer directly now! This'll be fun!
