I know everyone here loves everything to do with public transportation or we wouldn't be on this forum; public transportation is an interest I hold dear as well. I have a particular passion for creating transit operator point-of-view (POV) videos on YouTube of bus and rail systems for the enjoyment of transit enthusiasts everywhere; I also record some time-lapse videos of scenic road trips I take. To share my work with the CPTDB community I will be posting links to videos in this thread whenever new content gets posted to my channel. Many videos were created before this thread started, so I'll start posting those in order, and then add the new stuff as it gets published. I know it's cliché, but if you enjoy these types of transportation videos and want to support their continued creation the best thing you can do is subscribe to my channel on YouTube, hitting that elusive 1K subscriber mark would also allow me to begin recouping some production costs from YouTube, so any help getting there would be great! Creating these videos requires a lot of negotiation with transit agencies, obtaining film permits and film agreements, providing liability insurance, covering travel expenses, etc., so your support is much appreciated! August 2023 Winnipeg Transit - Real Time Journey - Blue - Downtown to University of Manitoba Winnipeg Transit - Time Lapse Experience - Blue - Downtown to University of Manitoba Winnipeg Transit - Real Time Journey - Blue - University of Manitoba to Downtown Winnipeg Transit - Time Lapse Experience - Blue - University of Manitoba to Downtown Coming Soon - The remaining Winnipeg Transit videos for the St. Norbert Branch of the Blue BRT route; 4 videos remain (2 real-time, and 2 timelapse). - Videos of the Utah Transit Authority (UTA) rapid Transit network, including the FrontRunner Commuter Rail Line, all the TRAX LRT lines, and the OGX and UVX BRT lines. Filming was completed over three days from August 29-31 with assistance from the super-friendly staff at the UTA. You should see 30 videos (15 real-time, and 15 timelapse) from that video production. I got to climb into the cab of the locomotive on the FrontRunner train for that filming, that was super exciting! - Videos of Calgary Transit's CTrain LRT lines, and the MAX BRT lines. Filming is scheduled with the staff at Calgary Transit for October 10-12. You should see 24 videos (12 real-time, and 12 timelapse) from that video production. Just note that as part of the agreement I have with the UTA they have to give the final 'okay' before each video goes public, so things may take a bit longer to publish. I will also be heading over to Calgary Transit for that video production next week, which will necessitate a short break in publishing while I film there.
