Yesterday the Region of Waterloo posted a RFP for the purchase of 11 40' electric buses. Six buses are to be delivered in 2022 and five in 2023. They will be long range buses and use depot (garage) charging.

The RFP is scheduled to close on September 7.

I would assume it would be the LFSe+ because of the higher overall range on a charge since they are only going to be charged at the garage.

You would think that but somehow the 30footers ran out of fuel on the first day in service...

The 30ft are also diesels and have a much smaller tank, trial and error.

You have a point but I understand that they just weren't serviced before going out on the road
