Chris.A
Not sure if there is a Bee Lines trend already, but recently on the forums, someone mentioned that Bee Lines placed an order for up to 265 new XDE40 hybrids from NFI. I'm aware of a 66 bus order with an option of 52 additional units, but nothing about a nearly 300 hybrid order (that's almost larger than the current bus fleet itself). Any thoughts on to this? DCTransitFilms
Horrible crash involving New Flyer XD60 350 in the Bronx on Route 20. Crashed into a subway pillar after colliding with a car causing 11 injuries, one serious. The right side of the front got sheered off. Its reported that the car made an illegal u-turn which caused the bus to swerve to avoid it and crashing into the pillar. Hopefully everyone is ok and recovers Here is the article of the accident:https://abc7ny.com/bus-accident-crash-bee-line-new-york-city/10916791/ here are photos of the accident:

My best wishes to everyone involved. This bus appears that it will probably be out of service for quite a while, as it’s entire front got sheared off

Chris.A
Bee Lines has just taken delivery of one of it's first electric buses. 2021 New Flyer XE35 bus #141 was spotted training by the Westchester Medical Center on the W43 bus line. The rest of the order(s) should be on the way soon.
H4 5600
2 former bee line 2005 neoplan AN440's are currently for sale on govdeals. These buses were test buses for bee line's next neoplan order, however the order was cancelled due to neoplan shutting down, and the 2 buses were sold to RFTA in colorado. https://www.govdeals.ca/index.cfm?fa=Main.AdvSearchResultsNew&kWord=neoplan&whichForm=vehicle&searchPg=Main

Chris.A
Bee Lines 2004/5 Orion 5.503 #134 and 2006 Orion 5.501 #660 are both now retired. #660 apparently had an engine fire over the summer (when was the last time a Bee Lines bus burnt up anyway??). Also 2021-22 New Flyer XDE40 #398 is now delivered to Bee Lines.

Most of the order is 2022, asaik the only 2021 buses are 399 and maybe 398? Also to whoever is editing the wiki page for Bee-Line, the option order has hit service well before today (at least since last month) One of the first documented videos of the option order fleet dates back to September 1st, but they've been tracking before that date (don't remember when exactly). Crazy how the 2006 Orion 5.501s with the Cummins ISM engines might get wiped out before the last of the 2004-2005 DD50EGR Series powered Orion 5.503s.
